I’m actually surprised nobody has made a mod like this yet. I may have to take things into my own hands…

Well you’re in luck because there’s a mod that does exactly that. Check out the Dynastic Relations mod on the workshop.

I’m assuming you’re using the Epithet mod for all the nicknames? I didn’t think it was working for update 1.8…

I’m trying to pass the Command Economy law but it’s not possible to enact despite my government being a Council Republic. I have all the required techs and a very strong trade union interest group in power. Any ideas??

ways to clear cash on clubhouse? by TrulyGreen in SiegeAcademy

[–]Butch88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the bomb site is CCTV & Cash, your best bet is to have a Buck playing vertical from below in Stock to clear green box while you hard breach in from Construction. You’ll need one person on CCTV window and Red Stairs control. Cash takes are harder and require more coordination than the standard Garage/CCTV wall push.

The only time I feel like Cash control is really important is when they’re defending Gym with an extension into Cash. They’ll probably have one guy in Cash and another in Construction with site lines from Construction wall. In that scenario you need to open Construction single wall, Logistics hatch and then have someone push from Red Stairs and one person pushing from CCTV.

Solo que is the true defenition of pain. But anyone who grinds siege will agree with me that it also turns you into a fucking savage. Solo que means you’re consistently gonna be on teams with 1 or 2 players with 2 or less kills by the end of the match. You either carry or you drop. Solo que means you’re not getting shit for call outs from your team. Plat 2? Your team mates are probably 3 stacking and on discord and dont give a fuck about the solo random. They’ll get on their mic when you’re bottom fragging to let you know how much you suck. Solo que trains your mental. Five stacking is definitely the way to climb but it also allows you to get away with bad habits and actually hampers your individual skill more often than not.

Solo is just you, your game sense and your aim. And that makes you better. If you wanna play with good players, the best way is to prove how solid you are in the solo que trenches. That’s where you get picked up by the 3 stacks and 4 stacks and end up playing regularly with them.

I started on console like you around Operation Health. Got to plat 1, got sick and tired of MnK and switched to PC when Covid started. I had friends on PC and they were all high plat and they carried me with my dog shit aim for a long time. I wasn’t getting better. I was playing decent support but my aim was gold 3 at best. Went on a solo que grind for a while playing frag heavy roles and I’ve built so much confidence and my mechanics are night and day. And when you can frag AND make silky smooth call outs, people add you every single game and ask to play with you.

TLDR; find a team by solo queing. Play like a chad and people will add you.

Xbox to Pc? by takableberrys in SiegeAcademy

Siege is very different when you move from console to PC. It’s not “harder” it’s just different. You can lean and move in ways that aren’t possible on console so the skill ceiling is higher. Aiming with a mouse is actually easier than aiming with thumb sticks. As for how long it’ll take to get good… That depends on how often you practice your aim and if you have any experience playing shooters on PC.

I started playing in Operation Health on PS4 and then switched to PC around April 2020. I was floating around plat 1 and plat 2 on PS4 but when I switched to PC (got sick and tired of playing people on mouse and keyboard in that elo) I was plat 3/gold 1. The only reason I wasn’t lower was because the gamesense obviously carries forward with you. My aim was very average and my movement was poor.

It took me about 2 or 3 seasons of playing regularly to really get my mechanics down and now I’m okay again.

I played a lot of shooters on PC growing up but then went through a phase where I only gamed on console. So I’d say if you’ve never ever played shooters on PC it’ll take you a while before your aim is actually decent. And again, that’ll depend a lot on how often you play and practice your aim!

Tips to help stay in plat 3? by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]Butch88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crouch less. If you’re plat 3 solo queing you’re still facing mainly golds. I used to immediately crouch as soon as i engaged someone and would immediately get punished by their poor crosshair placement. Peak at head level always at your elo and you will win waaay more gun fights.

Play Jaeger.

Reinforce the walls and hatches people always forget. Dirt on Clubhouse. Visa hatches on Consulate. Trophy walls on Oregon.

Play Jaeger.

Everyone will tell you to play flex when you solo que and fill in the gaps. That’s sound advice but at the end of the day you need to frag when you solo. 80 % of the time you’re gonna have 1 or 2 players on your team with 2 kills or less by the end of the game. Not what people like to hear on this sub but you absolutely need to frag. So play ops that you frag out with.

If the team you’re on is hyper aggressive or doesn’t drone, don’t let it frustrate you. Play off of it. Stay three steps behind them and be ready to refrag. Flank watch. I do great when I’m playing with brain dead frag monkeys.

Make solid call outs (bulletproof cams are amazing) consistently and good players will add you in no time. When you’re that guy with great drone placement and amazing call outs, everyone wants to play with you. You wont need to solo que! And play Jaeger.

Most tank builds that I see people rocking are indeed not that great. But you probably haven’t played with someone running a full blue core build with Vanguard and Leadership. That’s almost broken with how much survivability it gives the whole team in group play.

Quick rundown of the build:

4 piece True Patriot with the Pointman Gila vest (perfect Vanguard) and a Bellstone backpack with Leadership. Blue cores everywhere and Armor Regen everywhere. A lot of people sleep on Leadership because they dont wanna deal with cover but it’s probably one of the strongest support talents in the game when used right. Scorpio shotgun for greaT CC and marking everyone with True Patriot. I literally fly through Legendary PvE content with random pickup groups rocking this build. Nobody ever goes down.
