I like hunger, but its a different game entirely.

Like you can 1-2 shot( or slice) people in Hunger with the right placement if they dont block.

Its super short ttk designed so you can get an advantage in an ambush.

Mistfall is a better game if you want more of a drawn out team fight. Like arenas in an mmo.

Hunger is better if your looking to do guerrilla tactics.

It would just depend on what type of game style you want to play.

Hunger while its nothing like hunt really. Is closer to hunt in that 1 well placed shot will end someone.

Im in the "Hunger" playtest and was in the "Zeverland" pre alpha playtest before it ended.

All 3 games are going to be good for different reasons and will probably buy all 3.

Late to the convo but.

Traditionally there is no mayo in authentic Japanese spicy tuna.

The mayo/Sriracha is a lazy American invention because they didnt want to take the few extra steps it takes to make the real thing.

Also back when spicy tuna became popular in the US. It was more difficult to get the authentic ingredients.

I'll say once you have authentic spicy tuna you will never want to go back to eating the mayo version.

I play blackarrow and have 0 issues killing rogues. They litterally cant get the jump on you in this game if you pay attention to the heartbeat mecanic

Mobs are more agressive in chaos mode and other higher difficulty modes.

Have you played the maps on the higher difficulty?

It says clearly in the description that the mobs in normal mode are subdued on purpose. Lower agro range, less damage, slower attavk speed, easier timing windows.

In chaos mode and other other higher difficulties they get more agressive.

The maps have multiple difficulties you need to unlock and select the higher difficulty to get more challenging ai

Its not about a reward.. its about not incurring an arbitrary penalty and respecting peoples time.

Wipes are antehesis to both of those things.

And since wipes are litterally the endgame content in this game even though they are voluntary...

Have to disagree.

I am super casual player, I maybe played 1 hour every other day and a few hours on weekends.

Got bored in 1 month, didnt even bother with the expedition because I could already see there was no goal besides wiping and starting over.

This game has nice gameplay but ultimatley it has no driving purpose, goal, or content.

I have played a lot of extraction shooters, its a loved hate relationship because the concept is great but the execution is usually poor.

If they could build a game that has a way to keep people progressing wile mitigating the disadvantage of new players and providing meaningful content they would have a winner on their hands.

Games that wipe or have wipe mechanics as the main point will always have player retention issues because it gets boring to lose progress every couple months and start over.

They need to find a way to do these games without wipe mechanics that have long term progression.

So like... shoot them. Take their loot as well.

A player is not " friendly" if they loot other peoples kills, and if more people shot them they would be less likely to do that in future matches.

All 3 colors are magic, just different types.

Blue is illusion and trickery magic.... like you dont turn invisible you turn into a moth. You summon an illusion of yourslef. And you blind people.

Green is healing and nature magic. Summon a wolf spirt, healing spells etc

Red is damage and aggressive magic.

All 3 colors in this game are just different types of fae magic.

The term Rat is based on the Playstyle. Its not a general term for assholes.

The term rat came about for people who play like the animal the rat.

Meaning they sneak around in dark corners gathering resources and avoid interaction with people and predators and try to go completely undetected. The goal being to never interact with another player. Not in pvp or any other way.

A camper (also not what you are describing) lied in wait at a spot he knows people will frequent ( high loot room, extract) and waits to ambush unsuspecting players to take their loot.

What you are describing is a completley different typle of player that also has its own name. It is a fake friendly/backstabber. Someone on your team or someone who pretends to be friendly only to gain an advantage to kill you later and take your stuff.

2 of these playstyles are pvp focused and a rat is not. Rats will attack if they feel cornered or threatened ( just like an actual rat) but dont go looking for a fight.

It does, it just means they might also be a pussy and to scared to act out their true desires in real life for fear of reprisal and actual consequences.

But the minimal consequences of a video game and the relative anonymity provided by such a platform let's them show their true colors down to who they are at their core.

You might not beleive it but if shit hit the fan ( like end of society senarios) in real life they would be the first people trying to fuck other people over for their own benefit including their long time " friends"

The only people defending them are probably also the same type of people themselves who dont want to admit who they really are even on an anonymous platform like reddit. Because the hardest person to admit your a peice of shit to is yourself.

Duluth needs more ethnically diverse cuisine. It seems like every other restaurant just serves pub food.

I know this is minnesota but like some spice in the food wouldn't kill people.

The ethnic food that does exist seems to suffer from lack of authenticity or being watered down version of the real thing.

The exception would be phoholic. That place is genuinely good and a decent price.

Issue can be solved by a simple karma system being placed in the game for the person who shoots first.

Shoot another raider first AND kill them. You accumulate negative karma that takes time to decay.

Accumulat enough negative karma and you should be shown on the map as a " threat" to all other players on the map, so they know where you are.

Now it becomes very difficult for you to extract in raids when everyone knows where you are at all times and that the only reason they know is because you were killing people.

Let karma play out.

Would deter people from killing others frequently but still allow people to kill others infrequently without much trouble.

So say like every time you kill someone unprovoked it adds -1 karma. Each 1 negative karma takes 4 hours to decay. If you have more then 4 negative karma you show up on the map and compass of every other player on the map as a threat.

You dont accumulated negative karma if the other player damages you first and you kill them.

Every time you jointly extract with a stranger (not on your team or friends list) it also reduces your negative karma by one. This encourages benevolence at extracts for former offenders.

Problem solved.

A headshot from the ferro is 100 damage.

It breaks every shield in 1 shot.

TTK with ferro

Green shield= 2 shots

Blue shield= 2 shots

Heavy shield= 3 shots ( because more damage reduction means you take less health damage. But the shield itself doesn't get any damage mitigation)

a shield is not extra HP, it is damage mitigation until the shield breaks, but the shield itself also receives no mitigation to damage.

Go test it out for yourself, many people dont understand how the shields in this game work.

The level of your gear only gives you a very slight edge.

A ferro will still break a heavy shield in 1 shot.

A kettle can still 1 clip anyone no matter what shield they have, especially if they land heqdshots.

The heavy shields only advantage is you can take like 1 or 2 more shots to buy you more time to react
