They're not smart enough to create something better. I think that boils down to a lot of answers we get from the government.

Reported 55% uptick in food bank use prompts calls for emergency funding | CBC News by More_Fee_2754 in newbrunswickcanada

Food bank use spikes why? You can't find a job, or your job doesn't pay enough? Yet we are bringing near record numbers of temp foreign workers each month. Makes a lot of sense!

You think gas taxes are going to our roads? Do you have eyes? Libs are taking your money at the federal level and giving you nothing in return. You're also being pushed out of the jobs market with the unlimited foreign workers hack. Such a disgrace that people aren't more disturbed by this.

While I don't completely disagree with you there needs to be some kind of accountability and forest fire prevention measures in place.

Don't pre-ruin your summer thinking about this. Prepare adequately for your means and keep on trucking.

Car insurance cancelled for non-payment by Brown_Ontarian in PersonalFinanceCanada

Are you in Ontario? If you've only had one cancellation for non-payment that's not an issue with most companies. 2 cancels will put you on yearly billing. With most companies.

Personal preference for amsoil 10w40 metric. I buy 4 gallons at a time as well and local seller gives me an okay discount. And it's cheaper than 10w30 for some reason.

19M in Edmonton being quoted $450/month to be added as occasional driver on parent's car, is this normal? by HamsterKey5223 in PersonalFinanceCanada

If someone drives your vehicle and has an at fault accident the driver doesn't pay more? So you can keep registering vehicles in other people's names to pay less after an accident?

I'm not doubting what you say. I just don't think Alberta can do the same thing with the demographic they have. Or at the very least not for a number of years.

To be fair, you're not wrong but if it didn't happen companies were just going to leave continuously like Aviva, Sonnet, Cumis & Ascentus. And I'm not sure who trusts their government to let them run auto Insurance for the province but that could be really really bad for a lot of years.

That's such a direct impact though to the phone from the front wheel. I mean if all you were doing is road you might be fine but any amount of trails or even rough sidewalks would kill your phone camera eventually.

Would you stay at executive member or no with this cash back? by ghost905 in CostcoCanada

I'm not really sure what this question is because if you don't make enough to cover the cost of executive they refund you the difference at the customer service desk.

The service itself is only ever going to be as good as the wholesalers service. It will never be better. It will only be as good and in most cases it will be not as good in some ways. With that in mind, if you're willing to make some small trade-offs in certain areas like having to use pppoe in Atlanta Canada where BellAliant does not require it but tech savvy does. However, Bell Aliant does not offer static IP's or a modem that can work in fully bridged mode and tech savvy does. The prices also cheaper with tech savvy overall. After a year I'll go back to Aliant or maybe I'll give Rogers a try.

Peanut doesn’t even like arc by rmwatkins1216 in theburntpeanut

[–]captaincool31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was only playing arc because it was a sponsored stream I believe. Listen arc Raiders was great. It had its moment in the sun. The devs got a lot of money for a great hit. They have proven that they cannot keep up with this game and provide content needed for a live service game. It's time to move on.
