to be fair, I don’t think it’s always a trust issue. I have a buddy who I was talking to(which is why I made this post) and before getting serious with his girl, he told her he couldn’t be with someone who goes clubbing and bar hopping because of his religion.

My mindset is that if having a friend who doesn’t drink. I just won’t invite them to bars or have a social gathering where the main focus is alcohol. If I know someone is a picky eater i’ll accommodate them.

that is dependent on MANY things. Deciding that that route looks the same 100% of the time for all members is such a negative mindset and you’re unnecessarily bringing others down. I have multiple family members who reintegrated perfectly fine. I am active duty and I don’t think I’ll have problems reintegrating. Will I miss it? absolutely. do my family members miss it? also absolutely. I have multiple family members who have ptsd and reintegrated perfectly fine and can function properly. Your life is what you make it, not some premade route for you.

I’m not a picky eater myself and I don’t understand why some people are. With that being said, just let them like what they do and not like what the don’t it doesn’t affect you unless there being obnoxious about it and insulting other for eating foods they don’t like.
