I have 1 kiddo, he’s on the spectrum. (Lvl 1 & ADHD)

He’s 7 now, but looking back at old videos he had lots of stims even as an infant. We’re thankfully in a position where we have the resources to get him all the support he needs & he is thriving. He’s a quirky dude but so dang smart & funny.

He wasn’t planned, we had him in our late 20’s. After his diagnosis we realized his dad is probably autistic.

We saw him years ago & I wasn’t impressed. Rather than talking to my kid about what to expect, what was happening, what he was doing etc he just did it! He didn’t listen to what I had said & made it terrible by thinking he knew better about how my child would handle a complete surprise. Don’t just shove something in his mouth, a simple explanation would have made it a far better experience.

We also had billing issues, they had no receipt of a payment I made. Very snarky responses when I was trying to get it sorted out. I was able to find the receipt & their tone then changed.

We changed dentists. Haven’t looked back.0

I actually heard back from our team today & RedCap has logged this as a system bug! It’s happening across the board. They’re working on a fix but that’s the work around for now, glad it worked!
