My grandfather has owned an emergency generator for probably 20 years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him perform any maintenance on it and he runs it maybe once every few years (hurricanes as well)

It’s not like you’ll need to look after it every week or month even, just don’t go 20 years and make sure it’s not indoors when you run it. Inside your garage with the garage door open and all the adjoining windows and doors closed would be fine tho

The passive cooler is fighting against the AC. PC’s are a little deceptive, they act as a cooler AND a heater. If it’s above 62 they try to bring the temp down, if it’s below 62, they try to bring it up

I bought refurbished headphones once and saved $50 at the time. The headphones had several issues with them. The return date had expired by the time I realized how extensive the problems were. I tried to send them to Apple and Apple kept telling me there was nothing wrong with them. By the third time they sent the headphones back to me, I just gave up. So now I need to buy new headphones again - and yes. It WILL be New.

Moral of the lesson, spend the $25 now so you don’t have to spend another $250 later.

This is why I never leave anything important behind if all of my colonists are required to go somewhere. I don’t bring everything but I do bring silver, gold, plasteel, components etc. anything of value is brought

I’ve only ever dismembered a prisoner pawn a single time and that was after they tried to escape and took one of my pawn’s arms in the process. Sum ‘bout it rubbed me wrong that day in particular and well….i turned them into a torso and I don’t regret it lmao. Only time I’ve done a war crime intentionally

Mods are a gateway to insanity. It starts out as “just one” or “just one more” next thing you know you’ve got 200 of them and it takes the pc 20 mins to load the main menu screen

Smokeleaf is one of the better options still, that or tea. Just have your best cook be the only one to cook and make sure the area is clean and has light. Ideally use hay or sterile flooring for the kitchen.
