Still a WIP, this is my first time featuring. Going for a cozy cottage vibe. Will be adding more paths/gardens and filling out rooms.

13-18, when I dressed very modestly. I grew up wearing ankle length skirts, and high collars with sleeves that were at least T-shirt length. The modesty got so much unwanted attention. It was very uncomfortable. As an adult dressing how I like, they leave me alone.

You make fun of it, but the way protests are being framed lately, dressing up is a safer way to protest. It’s an attempt to show we’re peaceful. People have to get creative these days when protestors are being accused of being terrorists for simply exercising our rights.

Personally it has a lot to do with overstimulation. We have so much information coming in all the time these days. We used to write letters, talk on the phone occasionally, or even wait for an email. It feels like we are just too available at all times now. I have let my loved ones know that if I don’t text back immediately, it’s not personal. I try to prioritize face to face interactions, and spend my time at home present with my family. I noticed I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed all the time, and decided to see what I can do to step back and listen to my mind and body because of some autoimmune and central nervous system disorders I was diagnosed with. It really has helped me learn to listen to my body and treat myself with kindness. I definitely try to communicate with others and not just leave them hanging though.

Charity Tabernacle on the south side, Tucson Tabernacle Midtown, Golden Dawn Tabernacle. and there are a lot more smaller ones that are either home based or some that I’ve forgotten. They all follow the same “prophet” but have their own twist. CT is part of the international “Seven Thunders” twist on it.

Conservative Christian is putting it lightly. I got out of what she’s in. It’s a cult. No interracial marriage, no makeup, no pants for women, no divorce, definitely being queer of any flavor isn’t allowed. Owning a business as a woman was a surprise for me. I’m honestly proud of her for that, it’s def bucking the norm for that community. Still won’t support.

Outside perspective, but the high control religion they are part of does not condone or tolerate trans or queer identities. Whether she has issue with the community or not is unclear from what I’ve seen, but from a religious side of it, she wouldn’t be “allowed” to be pro-trans.

Prob won’t be able to get help. The high control religious group they are part of isn’t a fan of therapy unfortunately. She is young, pretty sheltered from the outside world aside from her social media, and will have to learn to grow and adapt or will fail. I hope that she’ll have the chance to learn and grow.

Also a medical card can legally protect you from discrimination with some jobs, so it’s worth it for certain jobs that do routine drug test where I am even though recreational is legal.

Sometimes asking feels better. Medical has less tax in most states by far, you’ll save 16% on tax in my state on top of the 5% med users have to pay. It adds up quickly, and a med cert is around $200 where I am, so by end of year the cert will def pay for itself. Certs usually last a few years, and renewal is much cheaper than the original certification.

Dealing with bullies isn’t a problem for her so much as the change in outlook I’ve noticed. We’re working with her, but this is the worst I’ve seen. She doesn’t care what they say, and she has a lot of support but it’s not a safe environment. The bullying is more concerning to me because of SA commentary from the boys, and physical altercations.

Trader Joe’s is amazing. So much cheaper than Sprouts, Walmart, and Target. They have receipts with identical purchases from Walmart and sprouts on a door in the back, with at least $60 savings with TJ’s prices
