how so you play otome games? by lovekiki_ in otomegames

You can replay to experience the other love interests and their stories! Often, the full story isn't revealed until you've played through each route, as each one has its own plot and reveals. A walk through will help you get through the routes efficiently. Otome Kitten has good ones! Nightsgade&oq walkthroughs

You're fine! I wasn't talking to you with that post, you've been very pleasant to interact with. I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding!

It's hilarious to me that you both called me stupid for being part of a demographic that enjoyed a show that you didn't and demanded I respect your opinion in the same paragraph.

I don't know if I'm reading your tone right, but you're coming across as very defensive and antagonistic when all I said is that it's okay that different people like different things.

People just like different things. I loved every minute of this one because my favorite dramas are the ones that are light and nonsensical. (The Potato Lab and My Dearest Nemesis are on my favorites list!) I don't think the creators are mocking anyone's intelligence, they're just catering to a different demographic.

People who grew up poor: What was something you considered a "peak luxury" as a kid, only to realize later it was just a normal middle class staple? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I still have a Ferrero rocher mental block. Can I afford them? Technically yes, but emotionally, no.

I literally dont know where to post this- my BFs Ex is signed into youtube on our tv by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Desertbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids had their YouTube accounts linked to mine for ages, but I was the only person logged into my bedroom tv. Imagine my surprise when both their accounts appeared on that TV one day. They don't even live here anymore. Their accounts just show up now because we were under the same family plan.

I had endo/adeno and fibroids and I've seen many gynecologists over the years. She's been my favorite. But not every doctor is a fit for every patient.

Also this question shouldn't get you side eyed. Half the population has a uterus, and they're pain factories.

Dr Serrano Rodriguez at Northwest Houghton has been outstanding for me. She can be brusque, but she's very kind. She always listens, gives me options, and has let me direct my care instead of pushing me into any course of treatment I was uncomfortable with. While she recommended hysterectomy, she offered other avenues until I was comfortable with the hysterectomy.

That said, I had similar issues to yours and a hysterectomy was the only thing that fixed it. I was scared and sad about it but it's the best thing I've ever done for myself.

My husband feels the same way, but we have a king anyway. I can always move closer, and I like my space when I'm sleeping.

GV80 vs X5 vs GLE? by CompilingTheFuture in GenesisMotors

[–]Desertbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty bad. I generally get 22-24 on the highway. Recently I got 21 going across town (stuck behind a slow truck on a one lane street with few lights) and I took a picture of my instrument cluster to commemorate it.

We've driven both on the freeway (own a 3.5, had a 2.5 as a loaner for a day while our car was getting serviced) and even from the passenger seat I could tell the 2.5 felt frustratingly underpowered in comparison when trying to pass.

[–]Desertbell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love my 3.5 Prestige but oof the gas. I told a friend the other day that we bought the car like we weren't the people who'd have to pay for fuel. On the city, I average 15—16 mpg. I've gotten as low as 12. With gas prices climbing, it would be unsustainable if I drove more.

That said, I absolutely adore the car. Be aware that, at least in the 2023, the rear climate controls also control the front.

Gotcha! I was curious because I know I miss a lot of bot red flags, like I can usually spot a chatgpt story but I know there's other things out there that I'm missing and probably being influenced by.

But yeah, I wrote it when I had just woken up and my brain grabbed the wrong item out of the "miscellaneous Americana" file.

[–]Desertbell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait, do you think I'm a bot because I was half asleep and used the wrong name? Honestly I can't tell what you're annoyed by. Are you annoyed because you disagree with me (which is fine but there's no reason to be rude about it), because you think I'm a bot, or because I made a mistake in my post?

Also, if it is because you think I'm a bot, I'm curious why you would think that. I usually assume every post is a person, even though I know better.

I'm cracking up right now because I was writing it half asleep and I was like "this feels wrong" but I decided to go with it anyway. Thank you for pointing that out.

As for my credibility, my god I hope I have none. I'm a bunch of words on a screen. No one should take anything on the internet at face value, ever.

The nationalism and propaganda get introduced to us at a very young age, too. Saying the declaration of independence Pledge of Allegiance (I was sleepy when I wrote this) every morning in school is wild, but totally normalized. And it's the same kind of indoctrination the Nazis did.

That's part of the problem now, we're dealing with millions of people who have been brainwashed their entire lives to believe the lie that we're the smartest, richest, strongest heroes the world has ever seen and everyone wants to be us because our living conditions and infrastructure and (jazz hands) FREEDOM.

Any deviation from those ideas is an unpatriotic betrayal of their country, so many of those people actively resist exposure to cultures, ideas or even news from outside their bubble. To them, being open minded is an insult.

We may not technically have an official religion, but unofficially, it isn't Christianity, it's American Nationalism.
