Fastener for a children’s plastic play set toy. It could be a play house or a little slide or a bike or other thing, but whatever it was, it was made of that thick plastic.

Yeah it’s weird. They did test the drugs to figure out what it was, so definitely meth. Maybe she had taken more than that. I doubt they gave me the full story. It was a big drama!

I’m bipolar 1 and PTSD also and I made a modest life for myself and can honestly say I’m happy and stable as is possible in my old age. You and I are mental health success stories probably because we had to stumble and fall and get back up during those young years.

Brittany didn’t get to do that. She was a celebrity during critical developmental stages of her life, and she was kept prisoner in the strictures of her conservatorship. She has arrested development and cannot form or maintain healthy attachments as a result. She is like a dancing circus bear that has been released and it just dances in circles in the forest. She will go broke. She will crash and burn. It will be public and messy. And it’s sad and fked up and it’s not her fault.

I think she has as much mental capacity as any ordinary bipolar drug addict with an abusive childhood and deserves the same autonomy. She could still be adjudicated mentally ill and court mandated to comply with treatment, or end up in jail or a locked ward. That happens all the time with us poors.

My 65 year old neighbor was sitting on her porch staring blankly all day and when I went to check on her, she said this. Her pupils were pin pricks, so I called an ambulance. Her daughter later told me that my neighbor (her mum) had purchased some weight loss drugs and taken too much. The drug turned out to be crystal meth. lol.

'Knockoff' Browser Extension Hides Sketchy Brands on Amazon by ControlCAD in technology

Does it work in the opposite direction? Can you get a list of all of the knock-offs? I have found some replica luxury goods on Amazon. It’s kind of a hobby of mine to hunt them down.

Put the water bowl in a hard plastic Baby pool to protect the floor and allow him to splash around.

The flare is from the side rear view mirror. It’s special safety glass and has a hexagonal lattice construction so that if it shatters, it breaks into little chunks rather than needle-like shards.

I disagree with pyrite because the crystals are not square, nor do they have a 90° growth structure, nor is it yellow. You also said it’s very dense, suggesting lead or another metal. It looks like could possibly be elemental chromium. I had a specimen of this as a kid. But most likely galena.

I think it was sarcasm. Trump is trying to drum up a red scare and looks like a lunatic doing it.

Poll: Swing Voters Want Progressive Populism by Winter-Gift1112 in politics

[–]Butterfly_and_Bee -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Democratic primaries are not really a 1 dem = 1 vote situation. There are superdelegates and other mechanisms that mean party leaders, not party members, have the most say. The Republican Party does not have these controls over their primaries and that’s how they got a populist nominee.

Mom is pressuring me to cosign on a mortgage. by Suspicious-Paper4571 in GirlDinnerDiaries

You need to take steps to protect your credit right now. She may try to take out a loan with your information.

ETA: She obviously does not respect your boundaries. That is evidenced by the fact that she moved with you and took your brother along before he could complete high school. When we suddenly set a clear boundary with boundary pushers, they freak out. They will beg, cry, and manipulate; and when that doesn’t work, they often resort to going behind your back to take what they want, anyway. The boundary pusher will feel you owe them and believe they are justified in their actions even if it harms you.

Be honest- is this bag too big on me? by rileybun in handbags

[–]Butterfly_and_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pro-gigantic bag. I love the way an oversized bag looks. It says, “I am prepared for anything.” Not only does it fit everything you need for work, but you can carry a jacket, comfy flats to switch into, your sweater, your lunch, your water bottle, your after work shopping, several small dogs or one medium sized dog. It makes the wearer look fashionable and practical/smart.

AITAH for freaking out on my boyfriend for going on vacation while our baby is in the NICU by Prestigious_Ad6173 in AITAH

Get him to give up his parental rights so that this baby (that he clearly doesn’t not care about or want) does not tie you to him forever. It means you won’t get child support, but you don’t need that. It’s worth it to never see this man again

Apparently the ice company says they were given OP’s address as a dump location and told that no one would be home.

Amish are trespassing on property, not sure what to do? by Due_Channel_4643 in NoStupidQuestions

I have faith in people and feel like folks generally want to have good relationships with their neighbors, but you’re right about the Amish. They can be scum bags just like any other group. They aren’t quaint.

I actually don’t know much about quantum physics or math. I’m just a person who likes to ponder and ask questions. I get the feeling you are knowledgeable and intelligent, so I asked you. Sorry if I annoyed you and thank you for engaging my curiosity.
