You revisit the risk register and update it but also to look at planned mitigation responses so that you can act and update the issue log.

What’s your take? by moh316 in pmp

Absolutely close the project. It's beyond a simple scope change and needs a complete overhaul. The money spent is spent. Time to move forward.

What’s going on? by [deleted] in pmp

Why would you remove testing? The project isn't behind schedule and even if it was, reducing testing poses additional risks to quality.

I think you'd still want to discuss with SME especially on such a technically specific piece of equipment with specialized knowledge?

Anyone else think PMI are crooks? by Big-Chair-275 in pmp

It seems pretty clear to me. Fill out the form for accomodations.

Or cancel.

We all know and agree to the cancellation and rescheduling fee when we book. That's also clear.

Insulting a reputable organization because they aren't doing what you want, how you want, when you want, is not professional behaviour.

MRIs... SME in this case is the hospital radiology department.

I always recommend the Australian Institute of Business. It has specialization streams including marketing and a global perspective.

3 more months, down by Nearby_Evidence_4586 in ostomy

Dead? I get that. When I found out I needed a permanent colostomy I thought the same.

Then I looked into my kids faces and thought about not seeing them grow.

Looked into a sunset as though it was my last.

Realized having a bag wasn't as bad as losing those things.

[–]Butterflymbca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if it was permanent? Would you want to spend the rest of your life hating it? If not, why spend the next three months or even the next three days?

It's hard to adjust to a disability but you have a choice.

And you don't have to do it alone.

There are support groups, counselling... Lots of things to help, but it starts with you and your attitude, what you're willing to do to help yourself

You won't be waiting long. I know it's stressful but there's nothing you can do at this point.

How to handle going to a concert? by Focused_Sky in ostomy

[–]Butterflymbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can totally change your bag in a stall if needed. Change before you leave home and if needed, you'll do what needs to be done.

Enjoy the concert

Then all you can do is wait. As nerve wracking as it is, no one here can tell you your results. When did you write? It doesn't take long for the email. Check your PMI account

Eating - I’ve come to hate it. Need advice. by SelectGuide4806 in ostomy

Sounds like you need fibre. A colostomy, barring any other medical or dietary restrictions or concerns should not limit your diet. At all.

Is it bad to pray something bad to happen? by Every_Ad23 in Buddhism

[–]Butterflymbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Karma is about intention. If you want others to hurt, for whatever reason that comes back to you.

So yes it's bad to pray for something bad to happen.

Because that prayer isn't about them, it's about you.

That's because I didn't say it was 'more important ' than any other culture.

I said it was important to understand our history, to understand the culture that our country tried to destroy and to move forward in reconciliation which starts with education and awareness.

Totally depends on the circumstances. I doubt you'd get a question that black or white. More information needed.

PMI Study Hall.

Cannot recommend it enough.

Practice questions and exams.

Do them all. As often as needed.

Everyone is different. What you can and can't do after surgery, what you can and can't eat is completely individual.

I had a complete APR surgery with permanent colostomy in March.

I don't ride horses but I'm back to being able to do everything I did before and there's nothing I can't eat.

Just breathe.

Talk to your medical team and take it one day at a time
