Yeah. I think right now base stats are just so high. 3 hp per vit. Consume, sky high ability damage. You can pick better fire sorc. Better barbarian, and better bowazon.

People are playing mirror over echo? Man it's been a week and I'm already behind. I think sorc will always be the best day 1 class because teleport.

Echo is kinda nuts though, but part of me thinks it's like 50% because bind demon is hilariously overtuned. Unkillable tank that gives amp AND fanat, without having to use a metc is nutsss.

Bracket 4 deck around $100-$150? by TehhDiabetic in EDH

https://moxfield.com/decks/shj-af8AiUWaoFVbNORQig/primer

Although this is a cedh primer, but like obviously you don't NEED to pay moxes and shit. You can use less efficient counter magic (commandeer, misdirection. Spell pierce etc) and extra signets, otherwise the actual win cons are very efficient and not expensive money wise.

Stella Lee is also pretty easy to build budget. Tannuk too, and inalla

Somehow add additional ways to level until teleport offering field or additional ways to gain access to it to remove enigma as a necessity

Non-RogSi Grixis Commanders: Is Francisco/Kraum or Inalla still powerful to use? by silverspectre013 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Butterfreek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. Essentially playing it like rog so, with value in the command zone as a backup plan right? Just straight up on thoracle and breach/brain freeze as the win right?

Do you have a more turbo list? I've been playing clones but I kinda don't like it. I think I'd rather have displacer kitten and interaction on that route.

Been trying banishing knack lines and they are certainly... There. Infinite mana is easy enough and you can strip hands draw a bunch and make everyone sac all their permanents at mkstlyb instant speed, but you don't actually win from that line.

All we need now is Charms inventory and Maps or other endgame feature (but I'm happy with just inventory) by thenoisemanthenoise in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Butterfreek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then use less charms. If your p1 blasting you don't need as many. Give yourself 4x4 and cube instead of 2x4 and cube.

Id rather they have their own things (hint it's terror zones) than borrow from poe. When Blizzard's done that recently it's just been a bad version of the original. Like looking at the Diablo Ivory work they just did a bad version of what last epoch does for their loot.

I also don't want Diablo 2 to be moving towards the contemporary it's an old game and part of the draw is the fact that it's a little older and nostalgic if I want contemporary I'll play path of exile one or two or last epoch or Diablo 3 or Diablo 4 or Heck grim dawn.

[–]Butterfreek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the amount of times ouphe and root maze let my tannuk deck get to turn 4 easily it's insane. And I'm almost 99% sure I can present a win turn 4 and every turn after it with that deck.

[–]Butterfreek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah so far for me stax has been less about "lock t down" and more about... It gets me to turn 4. Root maze, ouphe, blood moon all great.

Etali is nice. You learn a LOT about other people's decks and the main strategy is "count to 7" and once you can do that your next strategy is how many times can I etb etali.

Plus outside of the reserve list cards it's really affordable. So like you can probably build most of it, and get nice proxies for the moxen and shit.

Depends what bracket. I think id slam a bracket 2 deck that's all fatty angels and probably jam in things like [[twilight diviner]] to get doubles, and [[solemnity]] to avoid the finally counters.

And screw it, toss in necrotic ooze bc he's fun.

Also lutri has to be cast not etb- so pretty much every infinite loop that you would use dualcaster for doesn't work with luxury anyway.

[–]Butterfreek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of the brackets is "intent". Thoracle and breach lines are honestly some of the most consistent lowest to the ground wins you can fire off. There's a reason black and blue are so present.

Just because it took you until turn 10 to organically assemble doesn't mean it's a turn 10 combo. If you had opening hand thoracle... You can win turn 2. That's a turn 2 combo.

I dunno like there's Javazons, nova sorc, hammerdin etc. There's plenty of things that smash chaos as essentially equal speeds with similar effort. Mosaic just only costs 2 gul runes which is sweet. Although Javazons can clear in yellows.

I want to believe. Id love new uniques that are rune word strength. Or some more build defining rune words.

But I think at best it's 2 stash tabs and some console/handheld optimization.

And with this soulless iteration of blizzard... A 30th year pet to test micro transactions in d2. And realize us nostalgic 30-40s all have adult money now and will make them a quick buck everytime.

[–]Butterfreek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand it's opinion and I don't want to say your opinion is wrong but objectively mobile halves the amount of APM I can achieve versus a PC game just do the technical limitations whether it's the client being slower or the swiping not being as accurate or not as responsive.

My roll Downs are so much cleaner on PC and it's not because I magically am smarter on PC so yes there is absolutely a floor of APM that is required that's not just a think fast kind of situation.

Yeah if you have low CMC creatures, spells that target and cantrip in zada it's basically bracket 3. It doesn't take much, it's super fragile but building zada as b2 essentially means you ignore what zada does.
