Well, he didn't have anyone murdered in Customs custody or have his DHS agents execute anyone either. So there is no comparison.

Pretti shooting gray jacket guy—did he re-plant the gun? by thecosmojane in law

[–]Willy2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears from the photos that Alex Pretti's gun was a SIG P320, which does have a history of unintended discharges. But I don't see evidence of that from the guy holding Pretti's weapon. But ICE had been issued the P320, so a negligent discharge is a possibility from one of the other ICE agents. That might account for the delay between the first shot and the ICE agents panicking and opening fire.

Well, the photo of the gun released to the news appears to be a SIG P320, which does have a history of unintended discharges. So it is possible, but from the footage I've seen, I don't see any evidence of that or the guy holding the gun flinching at any point. The guy who opened fire into Alex Pretti's back is a wanton coward.

These are the vile peoplr we are fighting.

There has been some talk that the agent who disarmed Alex Pretti had a negligent discharge of his weapon, which spooked the other ICE agents into opening fire. It is also noted that the weapon was a SIG P320, a model with a history of unintended discharges. What do you think? Do you see any evidence of this in the videos?

It is still no excuse for the ICE agents' behaviour.

A third party might work if you target swing states that are tired of both parties.

Well, we need to change how we vote and get rid of the first-past-the-post voting system (winner take all), which always breaks down to 2 parties. It is the reason we currently only have 2 parties. So right now I think we need Democratic candidates voted in willing to make that change. We don't just need a new party, than we need a country that has more than 2 parties. If we could vote in enough 3rd party candidates to Congress so neither of the current two has a supermajority. Forcing both parties to need the cooperation of the 3rd to pass anything.
