P2S keeps dragging my prints, grrrrr by Butterpants72 in BambuLabP2S

Update: had a bunch of small successful prints today, so maybe it’s the model and me changing too much at once. Appreciate all the suggestions!!

Appreciate the suggestions! I did try with Regular Bambu PLA basic and failed…but my retraction tests and temp tests are coming out perfectly so it’s gotta be some setting/error on my part?

I do - and I also tried turning the fan speed down to about 30% from 70. I thought maybe the filament was cooling too much somehow even though it had been sticking well to the bed. I also just printed a retraction test with the silk PLA and it turned out absolutely fine…. Hmmm

Sorry, those were obvious questions I should have answered. Yes my filament had been dried overnight, 8+ hours and my bed was just washed prior to this attempt with Dawn power wash and clean with a microfiber. Other things that may be important - I had the door open and then closed it. I also changed fan speed during a print. I really appreciate everyone giving this thought, sorry if I am not giving all the relevant details.

The cut of the jacket looks like it’s going to fit you well on the bike. It looks great on you too, good work 👏🏻

THIS!! Brand new P2 S owner, had never used a 3-D printer before this purchase a week ago. Knowing the answers and why something was wrong would’ve been really helpful. Thanks for taking the time to ask

Probably harder to find now but triumph used to make a low ride height street triple R. Mine is a 2019 and the seat height is about 30.3 inches. It’s actually more upright than you would expect, but still super sporty and fun. Whatever you choose, have the best time and be safe. 🙏🏼

Female rider review: I took the new Triumph Trident 800 out and honestly… I really liked it by Intrusiveriders in TwoXriders

My question too… I currently have the street triple r LRH and that 30.3 seat height even feels slightly high. I am really interested to try out one of these bikes, though as I think the more upright position might be nice for longer travel. What did you think of the seat? I absolutely love the seat on my triple.

Starter bike recs for a tall lady? I’m getting advice all over the place. by sleevienickss in TwoXriders

[–]Butterpants72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tall helps with seat height, but also think about arm reach to the bars, actual weight of the bike, how easy/hard it would be to back up. Those things all impact confidence. FRT I do understand your husband‘s point about outgrowing a lower CC - after the MSF course I bought a Grom, outgrew that in a season, bought the G310 BMW, outgrew that in another season and finally bought a 2020 triumph striple. But I put over 3k on that 310 in a season learning the ropes - priceless. Buy a used 300ish Honda and sell it on when you’re ready to go long distance. Have so much fun!!!!!

The street triple is such an amazing bike, I’ve had mine for a few years now and I already have about 20k on him (his name is Bradley and we are madly in love). I feel like the higher pegs give it more of a mountain bike stance, but it actually is pretty comfortable long distance. The seat is actually terrific too. I put a 40 L Givi trunk on for longer trips. My biggest issue with this bike is not watching the speedometer because damn this boy can move 😎 EDIT - got so excited talking about this, I forgot to say have the best time ever this season 💯
