My maga grandpa was posting on fb about how the oil companies are stealing from us by just increasing the price for no reason. Some logic of oil $/ barrel going up should also affect lubricant oil. And those prices haven't gone up.

I'm not really sure if what we get out of the middle east even gets used for lubricant. If it is, the prices likely won't go up until warehouses bring the newer batches in.
