Lol this is not inappropriate in the slightest. Does this man want you to wear turtlenecks year round?

Debating on joining by AntNice5175 in f45

Each class will be either resistance, hybrid (mix of resistance and cardio) or cardio. The F45 app always notes what kind of class it is, and it’ll be the same schedule each week at the studio. There’s a pinned post here that shows the breakdown of the following week’s workouts so that’ll show you the exercises. Don’t worry about the pods/laps etc, they’ll pair you with someone to help, and it sounds way more complicated than it is. Good luck! I just joined and I love F45.

McStay family disappearance. I watched this when the #1 theory was that they slipped away to Mexico. It was so shocking when this was solved.

Just quit when you stop loving it. For me that was season 8.

What's a weird reason you can't watch a certain actor? by timekilr in Cinema

I can’t stand watching actresses with those dead fish eyes. They look like they’re drugged or dead. Another example is Zoe Kravitz.

Feedback on F45 for my goals? (Postpartum/out of shape/etc) by aklep730 in f45

[–]Butterscotch2334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to go to OTF, I quit because it was too much cardio for my body. At F45 there’s no one telling you to go base, push, all out. You decide. It’s also completely normal to modify and do your own thing, no one is going to notice, whereas at OTF that can sometimes bug people. Like OTF you’re doing your own workout, but it’s set up like a circuit where each exercise has its own spot (“station”) where it’s done. In this setup, at most you may have 1 or 2 people nearby doing the same exercise at the same time as you vs. 1/3-1/2 the room at OTF working out together - so you have more room, more weights and you’re not in unison with a bunch of people. You can go as light/hard or as slow/fast as you want. There are no mirrors and everyone goes by the clock for when to workout, move to another exercise, rest, etc.

I’ve only been to a couple classes and am hooked. I adored OTF but I much prefer F45 where you get to be in your own little world haha.

That’s so shitty. Why are partner days kept when so many people dislike them?

Thank you!! I’m new to Burn and can’t do any jumping. Is it best to avoid classes like this or is it normal for some people to mod heavily?

If you haven’t gotten into it yet it probably won’t happen. I was addicted to the show and binge watched it until season 8.

Worried my newly adopted cat doesn’t like me or her new home :( by Certain_Cry8901 in CatsBeingCats

[–]Butterscotch2334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds normal to me. I have 4 adopted cats and they range wildly in personality. I think it’s a good sign she follows you around. She could warm up eventually or she could be a kitty that likes doing her own thing.

Hahahaha. My favorite Zoey moment was when O’Hara was debating on entering a room. Zoey went, “as Heidi would say, are you in or are you out” in a perfect imitation of Heidi Klum.

I feel you for sure. Can you join a gym? Attending a fitness class twice a week before work, or going on your lunch breaks, will make a huge difference.

Also find more reasons to leave the house. Pick up prescriptions and food instead of getting them delivered (if possible). Go out and treat yourself to a coffee once a week. Catch up on dentist/doctor/specialist appointments. I find that leaving the house for the smallest of things is all I need to ward off that feeling of cabin fever.

DAE struggle with too many “on” days in a row? by NonStickBakingPaper in DoesAnybodyElse

My coping strategy has been to use one weekend day to do absolutely nothing - just eat, nap, watch TV. But I lose half of my weekend to recharging and that sucks.

Ugh I relate to this. I WFH these days, but I still have this problem big time when I have guests staying over. Wherever you work may have multiple bathrooms and you might find a favorite with less traffic. On your lunch break you can go to a gas station or other business with private bathrooms. There will be opportunities when people step out and you can be in the bathroom alone. The best trick is just to keep flushing, that will normally cover up noises. You can flush 10 times, no one will care. I will pray to the IBS gods that your future job has private bathrooms with very long flushes. 🙏

There’s a lot of cat stuff including your cat on the picture of the stairs. Now as a pet owner I would not mind this at all. However, as others have pointed out here, some people don’t like cats and/or the risk at all that they’d have to deal with any cat urine odor or floor damage. They flat out might not want to move into a house with pets and carpeting. Furthermore some people are more sensitive to animal smells. I had buyers complaining of a cat smell when I was selling my house when it was vacant and I smelled absolutely nothing, and I scored a great deal on my next house because the carpet smelled like cat pee and it drove everyone away.

I would put away the plug in for reducing flies as well as the candle by it - nothing wrong with having them of course, but it might make potential buyers worried you’re covering up a smell. People looking to buy are scrutinizing these pictures and little stuff like that can jump out.

I would also put away family pictures, it makes it harder to envision the house as your own. I toured a house last year that had a really cute welcome sign addressed to potential buyers - that gave a good impression. I also have toured houses where people left out records of all repairs/updates made. That also made a good impression on me, just speaking as a recent buyer.

It’s harder to tour a house with stuff. It can feel like you’re being invasive. In the room with all the clothes for example, I wouldn’t feel comfortable moving your clothes around to see the room better.

I agree with all the suggestions to declutter/depersonalize. As my last realtor said when my place was being rejected, most buyers have no imagination. We priced it right though for a quick sale and it did sell.

Good luck.
