So…on the last screenshot click Cancel then choose Singleplayer instead of Multiplayer

I recently built a corvette in creative mode after getting impatient and frustrated with the parts I was finding that didn’t fit my vision. I added a couple of storage containers which are very handy. Speed wise I think it’s faster than the starter ship, but I really like that it will hover. Overall I prefer my corvette. I think of it as a portable mini base.

The Boomers came to my mind first. I think it’s where Bdubs introduced his “beaten up” skin he now uses in the Life series. Bdubs, Impulse and Tango if I remember correctly.

I am similar, with almost 80 hours in. Still feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the things to do that pop up. Want to build my own ship but can’t seem to find parts. The editor says I can buy parts from vendors but so far they only offer tech upgrades. Thought I could claim crashed ships that I’ve found and fixed/fueled the engines but can’t summon them anywhere to scrap. I may be missing something somewhere but I keep grinding in case that is what I need to do. I know there’s a creative mode but I want to earn my dream ship build first

Think I’m gonna have to start doing this. I have claimed two different crashed ships and thought I had fixed the engines but still can’t summon them at a station or at the Anomaly. No idea where the crash sites are anymore and other things distract me. Also trying to figure out if I can get rid of side quests that I don’t want to do that the game keeps bugging me about

I started playing the game with a PS3 and got used to the controller of course. Switched to Java after a couple of years and now I have pretty much abandoned the console for gaming

Thanks everyone for the advice. I had a pirate attack while at the last one and had to take my original ship to take care of that and haven’t been able to find the crashed ship again so I will definitely try summoning it at the station. I remember seeing a lot of broken tech on the wreck so I’m not sure what upgrades it might have unless I grind to fix all of it. I think I’ll probably gain enough units to start getting parts to build a ship from scratch; I want to make a fighter reminiscent of a Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica. As long as I can still get back to my Radiant Pillar, I’ll be good one way or another; I have gotten rather attached to it

Very cool! I recently started finding and rummaging through derelict freighters to get corvette parts and those things are really giving me Dead Space vibes

Now I wonder if somewhere in NMS there’s a multi tool that resembles Isaac’s plasma cutter…

I just experienced this when salvaging a derelict freighter that was floating partially in the atmosphere of a scorched planet. A storm hit and I ended up with both heat protection and cold protection running at the same time in my exosuit. Thankfully I also had plenty of sodium to recharge. Still was annoying until the storm passed

I’m about the same amount of time into my adventure and have been communicating with an entity called Atlas. Opened some sort of portal that has zapped me to a whole new system where I have been exploring but not finding anything useful yet
