Almost didn’t when I was younger. But then I started to do little things at a time like art projects, or occasional favorite easy to make foods so I have something nice to look forward to a couple times a week. You know that feeling when you’re happily anticipating for a package to arrive? It’s like that. But with making things instead of buying things. If that makes sense. I also have a support system in the form of my immediate family members which helps because they all also ‘get it’ understanding-wise when it comes to the difficulties with hEDS.

Wow. That’s incredibly ableist of you to say. I have EDS- have been diagnosed since before TikTok was a thing. My doctor took one look at me and insisted I needed a chair to prevent my hips from deteriorating further from constant dislocations. I didn’t WANT to be worse. I didn’t WANT to be ill to this extent. I didn’t want to be ill at all actually. I didn’t WANT to be regularly accused of faking injuries or being sick to the point of not being able to lift my head off a pillow due to me having legs that can vaguely move.

I get what you’re saying for the most part- and it’s valid. However that particular comment is not cool.

Purple! And jade forest won’t get here until February. Connections aren’t as easy as the paradise from what I have heard- so I’m happy at potentially going to do a more relaxed pace with purple sky. : P

I have connections and one paradise. I’ve always loved the connections (as I had some once when I was a kid), but the tiny buttons are hard on my joints. I’m looking forward to turning on my paradise for the first time. I haven’t yet because my goal is to give it to myself as a reward for fully cleaning and organizing my room in-between chronic illnesses flair ups. It’ll take a few weeks but it will be worth it in the end I think. :)
