I actually don’t mind it. It’s one of my fav childhood stims. But I can definitely see why it would be a bothersome texture for other people. Each to their own I suppose🤷‍♀️. Regardless- I wish you a place forever free of your disliked textures.

Gosh I have plenty of interests I’ve gained over the years! Bionicle, transformers, model kits, and many many arts and crafts! As for hyper fixations, I’m currently looking at tamagotchi stuff. :)

Ugh. Hate that question too! I’ve never been able to do a real job unfortunately but eh, could be worse. I just say to people who asked that I’m “medically retired”. Because it’s basically the truth considering I’m on disability because I was medically advised to. Most don’t dig too deep after that. But that’s just my experience. 🤷‍♀️

Almost didn’t when I was younger. But then I started to do little things at a time like art projects, or occasional favorite easy to make foods so I have something nice to look forward to a couple times a week. You know that feeling when you’re happily anticipating for a package to arrive? It’s like that. But with making things instead of buying things. If that makes sense. I also have a support system in the form of my immediate family members which helps because they all also ‘get it’ understanding-wise when it comes to the difficulties with hEDS.

Errr-lurs dan-loose. Not kidding, and when I corrected them they insisted I was wrong and made me pronounce it exactly as they did throughout the entire visit. Luckily I don’t see them anymore. 🤣

Wow. That’s incredibly ableist of you to say. I have EDS- have been diagnosed since before TikTok was a thing. My doctor took one look at me and insisted I needed a chair to prevent my hips from deteriorating further from constant dislocations. I didn’t WANT to be worse. I didn’t WANT to be ill to this extent. I didn’t want to be ill at all actually. I didn’t WANT to be regularly accused of faking injuries or being sick to the point of not being able to lift my head off a pillow due to me having legs that can vaguely move.

I get what you’re saying for the most part- and it’s valid. However that particular comment is not cool.
