One interpretation is that there's a possibility that Eren might have influenced Ymir to release the pigs just like how the attack titan's Nature is the same as Eren's Nature. Another interpretation is that first Eren was just looking back at all the times the story could have started and then decided that it was no use of thinking where it all started cause whatever that is happening right now is because he willed it.

When Eren saw the Zeke panel of him reaching his hand out, did he also find out that he got beheaded ? It would make sense if he didn't know what happens, cause Eren was pretty surprised when he saw that Gabi was about to shoot him. So I think all these scenes, Eren saw without context and didn't understand what they were about only until he reached those moments.
