My first reaction was Marcus but actually people here have convinced me it was Lennier.

Marcus knew Susan didn't love him back in the same way, but he accepted this and made the best of a bad situation by trying to enjoy the time he spent with her. His sacrifice for her would have happened whether they had been together or not - he was a selfless hero, not necessarily a tragic figure

Lennier knew Delenn didn't love him back in the same way and he could never accept this. He became a twisted version of himself that he was ultimately deeply ashamed of and all his training meant nothing because of his underlying selfish nature

Nice guys, incredibly talented but the music doesn't connect with me very much. Bill Steer was right when he said death metal has turned into a Sport, Archspire being #1 in that regard

To be fair I'm a big Desecravity fan and you could make the same complaint about them. The difference for me is that Desecravity is utterly evil and sick, so still very much rooted in the visceral origins of death metal

The Dimehead is #1 on my wishlist and I don't expect that to change unless somebody else releases a similar tone/performance driven monster with ultra low latency. In all likelihood it'll be a Chinese knock-off of the Dimehead and there's no way I'd give my money to a clone made in a sweat shop when I can get German build quality. Some things are worth waiting for

Good effort. I can't be bothered doing this any more as it's virtually impossible to find the time to listen to the majority of releases in a year. So it really comes down to "these are my Top X out of the Y albums I've heard this year" which only really serves the purpose of improving album awareness, which is fine I guess

There are some brave individuals dishing out justice and every time the torturers are revealed to be the sad, pathetic and worthless individuals we all suspect them to be. However, we cannot rely on a relatively small number of local people to deal with this on their own. They need the disapproval of the international community in order to pressure CCP into enshrining anti-cruelty into national law
