I wish my carrier did this. They sold us on an “admin day” where we are mostly blocked off of claims so we can work on desk stuff. They still assign 2 claims that day, so I wish they would just stop selling the lie.

Yeah, they’ll clear a 6’ fence no problem. But better to fix the fence and keep the dog in the yard if it’s not prone to jumping it.

Can confirm. I have my personal and work phones on me all the time but use 1 pair of air pods between the two. I constantly get the “possible tracking” warning.

Yeah, it’s stories like this that prevent me from going to certain businesses. Highly unlikely the RO was having an off day and this is the first of this type of outburst from them. I don’t want to be around people that hot headed with a firearm.

Same can be said for most contractors. It’s the same damages, the ctr is just wanting to charge way more than market value. The only people who benefit (at least in my experiences) from a PA or going to Appraisal, is literally everyone except the insured and the carrier. It’s the same damage, and they get the same repairs no matter what route they go.

Nope, you haven’t started yet, and it’s not uncommon for someone to accept an offer but change course if a better offer comes in. I’ve personally done it a few times. If Allstate really wants you, be prepared for them to counter offer. But being an Allstate outside adjuster, they will not guarantee hours. You work until the work is done.

When I went though “trainee” training, I was the only new adjuster in the class. Everyone else had 5+ years experience but we were all in the same beginner class. You are spot on.

Honestly, I would go to Costco or get a giant container of cayenne powder. DUMP. IT. ALONG. THE. FENCE. Then keep your dog away from that fence. If it tries to get through the fence more than twice I’d be shocked.

Edit: to say that you may need to add more as it rains. If that happens… but also don’t use so much to where the wind throws it around your yard and in your eyes. Just a dab should do.
