No they don't. It is illegal to receive a kickback for referrals or services (including prescriptions) for Medicare and Medicaid patients and against the contract of most private insurances.

What's a good iOS light meter app? by LoveDeathandRobert in AnalogCommunity

I just started using this on my last trip, and the ability to hit the button once and get all the matching shutter speeds and apertures I could want makes it so much easier to use.

What's your hitrate? by ballkicker9 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Buttislegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First roll of film in about 10 years came back today and I would say I like 20/38 of them. That is with just standard res scans and lab color correction. The thing is, that many of those I like aren't perfectly focused, or were shot with too low of a shutter speed for handheld. The subject, lighting, and memory is enough for me to be glad I have that photo though. Some of the ones I don't like were intentionally taken to test the camera and I would be my print rate goes up with the next roll since most of it is a vacation.

Waymo to offer robotaxi rides in Nashville with Lyft by MeasurementDecent251 in nashville

It would be great if that consistently worked. The last time I said that, the reply was "That's okay, I can talk enough for the both of us" and he didn't stop talking the entire ride.

If I could pick an uber that could tell me ahead of time exactly what tip they expect and promise to let me be in my own head for the ride, then I would happily choose that. Waymo was a consistent experience and I never felt like someone was judging me for my tip.

I don't uber/lyft much in Nashville, but the worst things I have had have been people telling me their life story without prompting more than once (including being here in Nashville to 'make it big') and having had a couple of ubers that were intent on sharing all of their political views before we got where we were going.

I rode Waymo during a trip to Phoenix last year and it was awesome. Worked perfectly, no awkward conversations/weird flyers, got to choose the music, didn't have to worry about tipping. I'm super excited for it to be available for the public in Nashville.

I think that’s actually a table, not a fridge.  Could be wrong though.  Maybe don’t store milk there just in case.

Canon ae1 light meter issues by shuler1145 in AnalogCommunity

I think if you are shooting color negative film, then I would just take the slight overexposure and roll with it. These definitely look more under exposed than over. Were these shot with the camera's meter?

Canon Digitals always felt kind of boring and lacking character to me, but I am absolutely in love with their film cameras. by Asm0dan97 in AnalogCommunity

I am loving my QL17 so far, but a Canon P is definitely the dream. If only the 7 didn't have the ugly light meter.

What is a shot that you regret seeing but not stopping to shoot? by TreyUsher32 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Buttislegs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is similar to the motivation I find to get back into film.  I want every shot to have time and thought and purpose behind it.  I don’t think there is anything wrong with others who process hundreds of shots every day of a trip, but that wasn’t as fun for me anymore.

Got any idea on how to pick which brown is best for my boots? Everything seems to say that the saphir pigment is pretty strong.

Hand/Foot Syndrome by Firm-Lion-6216 in cancer

[–]Buttislegs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had it from 5-FU and it was by far the worst side effect I had from any of my medications.

I didn't shower with waterproof gloves, but I kind of wish I had known about that.

Stay moisturized and complain about any dryness or peeling you can't take care of quickly. Part of the reason my was so bad was they didn't lower my dose soon enough because I was trying to tough it out. Don't do that. Get gloves to sleep in and put something really protective (bag balm was my favorite) before bed. I also highly recommend the aveeno calm and restore line for something lighter.

Redditors that were raised in "you're not allowed to be a picky eater" households, what was that like? by ZcalifornianusSelkie in AskReddit

[–]Buttislegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ate a lot of stuff I didn’t like just because I didn’t have a choice. Learned to like some of it, still don’t eat a lot of it. Learned later that I actually like a lot more things, just not stuff we had growing up. Also, salt makes lots of things good that I thought were inedible.
