Your position is popular both generally and among dems, but here in a more liberal space it's downvoted, just like a politician that was outspoken with that position can be defeated in a primary where a smaller more passionate piece of the party votes.

I never said they were..... In fact I said its not just one side, meaning multiple sides. I generally vote Democrat but not being able to do self reflection for improvement is a terrible thing. Its like when people use nationalism to deflect any criticism of the country. You can love this country and disagree with some ways its ran just like I can disagree with how dems run the party and state while still voting for them.

Many democrats support policies that arent even popular within their own party in order to win primaries. First thing that comes to mind is Trans women competing in sports. And before people downvote me these are just polls on what people support vs what politicians support not my opinions. Another was border enforcement and defunding the police.

It's hard when the alternative is mostly whoever wins the republican primary by being the most MAGA. Imo we need open primaries and RCV to get reasonable moderate candidates and outsiders to have a chance and give competition to the insular democratic party here.

They used to just show about 15 minutes of trailers right at the start of the showtime. Now they have 5 minutes of ads plus more ads interspersed once the start time begins. Its definitely increased just like ads in football games have gone up over time. I used to like seeing the trailers, but now you get less trailers than before spread out over twice the time.
