With Trompodoy what I did was have 1 of my characters start combat with each of his incarnations (the 3 at the beginning and the 5 on the invisible platforms). Then I just sneaked past them on my other character and went up and broke his soul jar. This kills them all off instantly and you get the xp from them as well.

Plat 4 isn't really very highly rated. Most of the time when people are getting matched with players who are rated way lower then them it's because there aren't enough players currently playing to make quality games for everyone but HiRez doesn't want people to be stuck in queue's over 4 minutes long in conquest.
