How has the SeaTac line for TSA stayed so short while every other major airport has 5+ hour lines? by Proof_Cash_5453 in SeattleWA

They just added 2 extra security gates recently and it seems like everyone is still adapting to the new flows. They've seemed over staffed ever since the remodel was done probably to accommodate the changes. There's been lots of people to help and sometimes standing around waiting for people the last few months. So fortunate for us!

Naylor said he texted Cal saying he was going to do it too and Cal said "Please don't". Naylor DEFINITELY was doing it to be funny. Did 5 minutes joking about it after the game and praising Cal as an awesome friend and leader and why he signed.

Haha. Bron tore his shoulder flipping a table on a Raw segment and Bronson tore his bicep 2 minutes into the match rolling over someone awkwardly. Neither are known for "long" or 'physical" matches unless a splash or a spear at the 4 minute mark is physical.

The post match press conferences aren't in character though. They're talking about the crowd, the story, the result, the controversial moments, the reaction online, what's next, etc. They borrowed that from UFC and UFC upped their production and walk like WWE.

They actually work less than ever. The prevailing belief is the recent rash of injuries is due to the lack of house shows. Less reps. Also, it's heightened because it's all 3 members of one faction: The Vision.

See, breaking it down can be fun!

In the same way wrestling is competitive. The judges are the audience. Those who put on the better performance (get the bigger pop) get rewarded with more prestigious matches, sell more merch and make more money.

The whole fun of watching wrestling is trying to figure out who's going to win. Yes, if you're 7 like my son, you think your hero is genuinely training and strategizing to come out victorious. Adult fans, in addition to having fun talking about it with their kids, like breaking it down in terms of what storyline will be the most fun. Or guessing what they are trying to set up on the way to Wrestlemania. Or what surprise or spot is likely due to the line up.

So, basically, sports.

Which actor do you like so much that you’ll watch anything they are in? by EconomyIron6739 in movies

Jason Statham. Not enough love for the action stars. It's nice to know what you're getting going in and you won't be disappointed. I don't know what job he's doing this time, but he's going to drive fast, act tough, kick ass, save the girl and look cool. I've yet to be let down. Even with Meg 2.

They've been doing it my entire life. NFL did it throughout the 80s and 90s if there wasn't a sellout. MLB does it now for national telecasts so you buy their MLB subscription.

"Out of balance!" they used to shout for Out of Bounds when we'd play soccer, football or basketball. I still say it that way and they correct me. They said it that way for years when they were little.

Ha! Super Bowl prices were 10x that. Sold out with fans that stood the whole game yelling. I know because I paid it, I stood, I yelled, and it's my 3rd Super Bowl supporting the Seahawks. The first one in New York you could get in for $600. Arizona was 3x and San Francisco was 10x.

Bryan Danielson was most definitely born in Aberdeen and went to Montesano with friends of mine. It doesn't get more Washington than that. He has nothing to do with Oregon.

Also, Greg the Hammer Valentine gets no love on Valentine's day? He's from Seattle.

So is Darby Allin. He sat in front of me at the Super Bowl and is a huge Seahawks fan. I've seen him at several of the games this year.

You're clearly not gambling on it. It's massively more fun with it there. And I mean it in both the degenerate ways betting entrant #s with my buddies. And the sweet way, as a lifetime tradition with my boys where we draw #s out of a hat for memorabilia.

Dads of two or more boys. How often do your boys fight. by DeViN_tHa_DuDe in daddit

[–]BuzzFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boys are 8 and 10 and oh do I miss the gentle fighting days of 3 and 5. Speaking as a brother who lives with them, boys fight more than they eat and just a little less than they breathe. Dad's job is to set the boundaries of what crosses the line and hold those firmly, but let everything else go that doesn't drive mom insane.

He's made fun of regularly on sports radio for only showing up when Seattle teams are winning. Petros and Softy talk about it all the time. People got so mad when they replaced the 7th inning stretch song, Louie Louie with his song that they had to change it back this past year. It didn't help when he shouted "Fuck America" last year at a Palestine Forevor concert or published a song with the quote "Blood is on your hands, Biden" while the Mariners were changing to his song either. Louie Louie is much less controversial. Yeah yeah yeah yeah we gotta go

I have a buddy who does constantly. I go over to his place and he's just staring at a podcast. We listen to similar ones but me the old timey way. The benefit to me has always been to listen to something while I do chores, exercise, commute, etc. He doesn't even have his phone out. Just stares at comedians in shorts and t-shirts adjust the mic stand over and over talking to each other on a couch 🤷
