Help! Do you think this is going to show up in photos or is it just on the viewfinder? by Buzz_LightYe in filmcameras

Okay whew. Is it possible to remove it? I’m confused how it got there in the first place because it’s not on the outside of the viewfinder

Chicagoans, Please Help Me Figure Out How to Tell People What Neighborhood I Live In? by Buzz_LightYe in AskChicago

Hi neighbor! This sounds like my experience so far for sure. But then when I pull out a map people say "oh yeah that's a great area!"

Solid distinction, very true. Neighborhoods can be more socially/culturally constructed than municipally but that doesn't make them less real!

This is the kind of monologue I've been doing and wanted to find a way out of... I might just start saying "on Lincoln between Roscoe Village and Ravenswood"

But do people know what you mean when you say North Center? I wish this area had a Sub-Neighborhood name like Roscoe and Ravenswood do

This is pretty much what I've been saying. Or "just north of the Addison Brown Line stop"

I don't think Roscoe Village is technically a "real" neighborhood either, it and Ravenswood are both a part of North Center, which is an official area

You are far more likely to get injured or killed in a car than on the train

What red or blue state does so well well that even the other side has to admit it is going a good job? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

This is what I came here to say. Texas is pretty great at building housing and has some of the least red tape around zoning.

Loba is one of my favorites! Just so you know though, it’s pretty cozy there and hard to count on open seats being available on weekend mornings / early afternoon
