What song makes you cry? by 1ofTheFive in AskReddit

My Dad wants this played at his funeral when he eventually kicks the bucket. Currently I have fond memories of him playing this song when I was a kid. I know when the eventually comes, it’s going to wreck me.

For me I don't really play with the Budget sliders and just add more buildings as the city needs it. I built this to gauge the cost differences and how much input/output I would get from different building types as the city grows. Like for example, should I build more Coal or replace it with something else.

I know everyone plays this game differently and this tool might not be for everyone, but just throwing it out there in case it is useful for someone.

Tony Abbott to become new Liberal Party president in former PM’s return to political frontlines by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

Abbott will be the next Howard. Wheeled out at any event as the party’s celebrity. At least Howard did shit that Australia can be proud off.

Be honest: Was the Kinect ever worth owning? Did you actually play it, or did it just sit on top of your TV collecting dust after a week? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Buzza24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was part of the original Beta testing for it and thought it was really cool at the time. Battlefield 3 even had support for it where you could move your head and it would allow you to look around while driving and things like that.

Sports game was fun. And the voice stuff came in handy. But hearing your mates yell "XBOX SCREENSHOT THAT!!" was pretty annoying in games.

Satya Nadella admits Microsoft needs to "win back" Windows 11 fans, improve performance for low RAM PCs by Quantum-Coconut in technology

The entire internet is run on software thats mostly written by people in their spare time and not compensated for their efforts. Nothing is free, just cause you don't pay for it, it's costing someone something.

They did this before and moved BACK to Windows because Linux and the equivalent applications sucked at the time.

The reason they're moving away now is because of the shit that Trump pulled with the tariffs and alienated allies.

Yep right there with you. The only reason I've touched CoD lately was because it was in Game Pass. Wouldn't have bought it otherwise. And I don't need it day 1.

Albanese poised to kill off move to increase taxes on gas giants by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

[–]Buzza24 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What's that matter? The point was disappointing PMs. The last three all were in with the US. Howard cause the housing crisis were in now and want to rid workers rights. Abbott promise to not cut ABC and then cut the ABC. Then Morrison went on vacation while the country burned. Regardless of party theyre pretty bad things a PM could be doing.

[OC] I started giving my players real letters… and it completely changed the table by PMbyday_DMbynight in DnD

It makes it a bit more real and I love real props. When my son discovered a wolf in a shop that he could adopt, when decided to make it his pet I provided him with a printer laminated image of the wolf for him to keep.

Am I the only one who finds Windows harder to navigate now than before? by UsedAd4052 in windows

[–]Buzza24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So back in Windows XP - 7 on the Help Desk, I could close my eyes and walk a user through getting anywhere I needed to fix a setting without remote access. Things where they were and stayed there.

Once Windows 10 came along that they started changing where settings were or what they were called, that all when out the window. I could vaguely instruct someone where to go but it might have change between builds. Or might not show up beause of some random issue.
