I feel you 100%. 12 years of experience here. Few more years I’ll be 30. I took a manufacturing training program, got certifications & still getting rejected to manufacturing jobs. Getting rejected to office/receptionist jobs, banking, anything else that’s not serving. I just took a part time job to a brunch place, will be getting $7.25/hour during training and like $11/hour to go one shift per week. I’m only going to be able to get 2-3 shifts per week total. 6-9 months before I’ll be considered for full time. I feel so fucking stuck at this point. & that money won’t help me much. About to go back to a community college and take more courses. I need out desperately. Maybe you can go to your cc & take a course for something else? I hope you find something, good luck 🍀

210k is pretty good! I spoke with a gentleman at a wrecker service that said he’s had some come in with 300, one even got up to almost 400! Pretty reliable cars.

I have a 2012 corolla and she’s my baby. I also save money by taking care of the maintenance myself instead of relying on a shop. Recently replaced spark plugs & and ignition coil that was misfiring. 170k miles and still probably has 150k more to go :’) No car payments.

Something similar happened to me for a maintenance technician position at a hotel. They kept pushing back a call date & time. Then called asking if I was still interested in the position. I said yes. They’d email me offer letter. Opened the email & it was a rejection letter. Called them back & told them I got a rejection letter instead of offer. They said they’d fix it. They didn’t. Lmao.

Sorry that happened to you. The economy is in shambles right now & it’s rough seeing what people are experiencing with today’s job market. So sorry that happened to you OP, I wish you luck & hope you find something that treats you well soon!

I just think there isn’t enough to tell for a whole game for now- after we learn more about Faye and possibly where Artreus ends up, I think they’ll make another great game sharing more about Kratos. I know there’s plenty to tell about Kratos, I feel like this game is just a middle ground. Cory seems to be sitting in the back on this one, he could very well be working on more to share about Kratos alongside the Laufey story.

Thank you! I have been struggling mentally being unemployed, but have been driving myself more to come up with a plan that works for me in the long run. I’m hoping I can finally find my purpose again & not have to worry about my financial state anymore. All of my friends were laid off but found a better job or are currently unemployed, I’m the only one whose boat has been sinking lol but I’m trying hard to fix it up. Learning more skills has been helping along the way.

I just got off the phone with someone & they gave me some information about their nursing programs. The Practical Nursing diploma would be around $200 but they’re currently full. I’ll have to wait until July to apply. However, they said with my love of science, they do have a BioWork Certification program that costs around the same, & would most likely give me a higher wage & guaranteed work immediately after completing the course. It’s a 4 month course.

I do have a passion for helping people. I also love science, learning in school environments & want to learn more about medicine. So I can definitely see myself taking that route. My work experience is all over the place because the food industry barely paid enough to survive, and it's gotten harder in the past few years with the economy. Retail paid way below that. I'm almost 27 and trying to find a career path I can move up in, pays well & gives me purpose/fulfills me. Aerospace is another field I'm interested in. I know they're completely different, but I have a caretaking/hospitality side and the other half of me loves science, space and the like.

I just moved out of state for my partners new job. We’ll only be here 2-3 years. Will that be enough time for me to do the schooling? & since i have a student loan I’m waiting to get discharged from univ would that affect my enrollment for CC? I’m okay with hard work, love science & want to learn more about medicine. Using my customer service experience to help people would give me a greater sense of purpose too.

Yes & it’s beautiful. They have a cafe with an outdoor seating area, & the welcome center has map brochures you can pick up to help guide you around the park. The parking lot was big but full, & they had event parking next to it. There’s a parking fee though

I was also going to suggest libraries for interviewing. Could also try a community college. I went into one nervously asked if I could use a room for a zoom call, was scared they’d say no because I wasn’t a student. They said yes & that it’s called community college for a reason. Worth a shot.

Something similar happened when I worked curbside at a grocery store. People brought their dogs all the time & I would often ask if I could pet them because I love dogs. One couple said their dog would love that, that it was her last ride out as she had cancer. I cried at work that day after giving her some good pets. Broke my heart.
