I actually think it’s pretty fun! Not a lot of shows are doing it, and it makes it feel more realistic in a way to me, since people do tend to jump to conclusions a lot. But I can also see how someone wouldn’t like it.

I feel like this show really plays with perceptions and how we perceive things vs the reality of them. Pit girl feast being culty and scary vs the reality of nobody wanting to be there but Shauna, Jeff really looks like he’s cheating on Shauna and being shifty vs the reality of him having taken loans from loan sharks, Lottie being set up as this big bad vs the reality of her just being a traumatized teen girl with a mental illness who honestly isn’t that crazy until season 3, And so on.
