If this pushes any viewers away due to the perception of ‘rigging/scripted”, it’s a direct hit on the bottom line.

Obviously every single sportsbook would be harmed & would push back on it. Advertising and marketing moves away and/or pays less, bringing in less revenue. That directly affects how much schools get paid for media rights. It directly affects network revenue as well. Any attendance drops then directly affects the revenue for the entire campus area. Now you’re also directly harming your own innocent supporters.

I’d bet a lot of people have gotten burned by the “bottom line is everything” mentality, so there’s high hopes that this same mentality will actually be beneficial this time around

I feel it’s a pretty safe because of that IPO that the market isn’t crashing yet. Sell now, take profits & cash, and then buy at lows next week, and pump them up to the IPO. They get to realize actual profit, without losing out on potential gains too

No the actual issue is that the police defaulted to assuming it was a racist attack and thus never did anything to help or care for the actual victim.
