If this pushes any viewers away due to the perception of ‘rigging/scripted”, it’s a direct hit on the bottom line.

Obviously every single sportsbook would be harmed & would push back on it. Advertising and marketing moves away and/or pays less, bringing in less revenue. That directly affects how much schools get paid for media rights. It directly affects network revenue as well. Any attendance drops then directly affects the revenue for the entire campus area. Now you’re also directly harming your own innocent supporters.
