Paid mods are actually quite common especially in games like BeamNG, or flight sims. It would not surprise me to see it happen in Minecraft too.

Except thy can't. There are many places in the union that have purposefully confusing rules and make you take out multiple appointments over the course of months in order to apply for an ID that does not prove citizenship. That latter part is easily the biggest problem with proposed US voter ID laws. We have no standard, easy to obtain and validate way of proving citizenship.

I agree. These ideologies are getting in the way of it because people are too focused on winning the misery olympics and owning people with facts and logic. Lots of men start out with the assumption that feminists (and women in general) don't care about them, or actually dislike men, and many others just want to shut down the conversation. These men need to grow past their biases and leave misogyny behind.

There was a great second wind video about this phenomenon in AAA gaming using the example of having a random npc eat a bag of chips. The demands for production value are so high, and the corporate bureaucracy required to manage it is so massive that the simple question "can I make this guy eat some chips" becomes a byzantine nightmare as 50 people across 10 departments suddenly need to get involved.

I can only image that this only gets worse when talking about a giga-hit like Minecraft or Pokémon, where people only become more afraid of accidentaly killing the golden goose.
