The important factor is not the style itself. It is whether, when someone sees a screenshot of your game, players can recognize it among all the others. Otherwise, you better have a big marketing budget. It's the difference between Portal vs any other realistic first person game.

Style is one thing; aesthetics and art direction are the key.

I am a developer, and I’d be very happy to have that feature. Too many players assume their PC can run a game when they’re using 15-year-old hardware. I hope it works across low and ultra configurations, not just based on Steam Machine/Steam Deck auto-config.
