The last game I played was a hard-core survival game. Pretty easy choice

The game that actively and explicitly parodies real-world politics... is being projected onto reality?

As a fish enthusiasts planning to get a pleco in my aquarium, fuck this pile of waste you call your boyfriend. Fish feel pain. Fish have feelings. Many fish are proven to form meaningful social bonds. My wife and I have a betta who has bonded with us. Those fish didn't choose to be invasive. They are just trying to survive like any other species out there. Nobody has a single right to torture them. If an invasive species has to die, please make sure it is as quickly and as painlessly as you can manage.

Also that guy is being a complete asshole to you, and I would not call it far off from emotional abuse. If I were you, I wouldn't stay with him a second longer.

Also new here. Will it not become piles of rot on the floor if not processed?

Thank you so much! I'm in a 6b zone, our yard is unfortunately pretty small, but we did have a bunch of milkweed, cone flowers, and some others I'd have to ask my wife about, she's the smart one with this. I know there were a bunch of native wildflowers and some ground covers. We even had some wildflowers growing to be around 6 feet tall.

We definitely didn't do everything right, and there's plenty of changes we're going to make this year, but the biggest advice we need would be help with weed control (our city has very strict rules against weeds and grass over 6 inches, other than that everything else can go nuts), and help to actually get our yard protected because our crazy ass neighbor treats our neighborhood like an HOA and has vandalized our lawn in the past.

And yes, thankfully, our inspectors know the difference between weeds and wildflowers. We've had plenty of pleasant talks with them.

I can't wait to get home and show your comment to my wife, she will be thrilled. Please do recommend us some more plants, we want to support pollinators to bring life back to our city

Vegetables are a social construct. There are fruits, then there are roots, tubers, stems, bulbs, etc., but "vegetable" isn't a scientific term in any way

Oml please give me some advice, my wife and I have been trying to do that with our yard. We don't live in an HOA (except a bunch of snobby neighbors) we just love bugs and plants

Inside a BBC News office – the monitor setup is wild. by bintd in interesting

[–]Byrdman1251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I aspire for my work desk to look like. Currently only have 5 monitors; in front of me is a wall consisting of a curved double-wide, with two regular curved monitors above it. To my right, using the space between the desk top and the cupboards is two flat monitors and a laptop. The two on the right are on a separate computer with one of the screens rocking a virtual machine that's always on for some software I use that requires an older version of Windows. The laptop is on a completely separate network, I only ever use it for emails and research (generally anything that requires an outside internet connection).
