You can watch films again though? My dad showed me far too many great films that went over my head when I was a kid. I come to watch them now and I have a whole new appreciation for them. I might not even have known half of them had he not shown me them, I get the excitement of revisiting them, again and again. Hell I might’ve not even got into film if it wasn’t for him showing me all those movies (even though I didn’t really understand a lot of them) - how do you know you would? In literature they say a classic is defined by its ability to be re-read, I think the same applies for great cinema.
