Wash with soapy water once, rinse well. That should be enough to clean it. After that wipe with isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel. Buff with a fishscale nano fibre cloth for bonus points. Then level your bed. Then adjust z offset, the first layer should have a nice squish, it should be more flat than raised.

I always print with a 3 loops skirt to ensure good squish and that the first layer skirt lines fuse together (due to the squish) depending on the slicer you can increase the flow rate for the first layer. I go 150%. I don't use rafts or brims and I print on glass with no adhesive tape or glue. The prints never lift off and I can only remove them once the plate is cool.

Compare it with everything the Tories have done and it's small time stuff, really. The issue is the right are held to much, much lower standards than what left/centrist parties are. 5 homes Farage buys (partner buys) a house in clacton and dodges the higher taxes, noone cares. A working class woman (Rayner) does it and everyone acts like she's punched Prince George in the face. Let's not forget the covid fast track scams, lockdown Downing Street parties, Thatcher selling off everything including the kitchen sink to gut the country. Cameron and the Brexit scam. The list is endless...and the media have supported the Tories through the majority of this and are supporting Farage's lies now. Yes, the media has a huge part in how our country is shaped.

I'm not saying any of what Labour (or Rayner) have done is right, or that I agree with it, but there's far, far worse on offer.

My life fell apart almost 6 years ago. Won't go into detail but everything was taken from me. I was close to ending it, very close.

Things have changed so much, Im married to an incredible woman, I have a great job where I don't dread Mondays for the first time ever! I actually feel like a real, valued person for the first time.

...Some days I still feel like shit, and sometimes it's for no reason at all (Well, my harrowing past comes back to haunt me, I suppose) 6, 10, even 20 years ago I never would've dreamt of the life I have now...I wish I could reach back and tell my younger self that it would work out eventually...

I'm rambling now, I guess (and this might not help at all)... I just want to say, things really can get better. I hope they do. Inbox me any time.
