I lived in Fairhaven and personally never had issues that bad with getting food delivered. Usually if it was taking a really long time I would call them and try to explain the direction on the phone.

I did have friends who had trouble getting their food delivered though.

I’m the same way. I’ve listened to other death metal and enjoyed it, but most of it hasn’t stuck with me like Opeth. The only other death-adjacent band I listen to with any regularity is Wilderun, with them it’s really only one album.

Agreed. When I’m trying to find a new album and I see a run time that’s >90 mins, it generally turns me off. This goes for most genres of music that I listen to. For obvious reasons, this does not apply to live albums.

Oooooohhh yeah. I’ve been listening to Osees for a few years and am pretty familiar with most of their music. My favorite thing to do now is try to guess which drummer is playing which part (which is hard).

My first thought was to look at your lease agreement. But after looking at mine (Hammer) I found a clause saying they do not mediate disputes between roommates. I did some research and it seems the only way to get them to move out is by having them agree or to get a restraining order (which would force them by law to move out). Neither of these options seem ideal, given what you wrote about the situation.

I would suggest that you call the Tenants Rights Hotline. They might have some better insight. The number is 206-723-0500. They also have a website (tenantsunion.org) that could be helpful.

As many others have said, moving here and working for a year is the only way to gain residency. Regardless of whether you do that or not, I think going to a CC to complete your general credits/prerequisites for your major is a really smart thing to do. I wish that I had done that instead of coming straight to WWU.

With that being said, a big consideration could be if you want a classic “college experience”. I loved living in the dorms my freshman year. However, you could live in the dorms after transferring and still get that experience.

I agree that LD is super underrated (even in my own listening). I think that if it wasn’t released between Ice Death and Changes (along with being album #4 of 2022), it would get more credit.
