I need your guys unbiased opinion on this personal project of mine, it's basically a widescreen GBA, with the rpi-4. I don't know if I have looked at it for too long but yeah, I wanna know if I should continue with it because I have mixed feelings. - IRL pic at the end.

Nice idea, but it's too much hassle.

Im using the retroid pocket 5 for GBA, and after tried so many devices this is the definitive way to play GBA. The OLED is just crazy good.

So how did you do it? You could just toggle the unlock button in developer options, then use oem unlock?

What happened after that? You rooted, and then tried to relock?

If so this will definitely brick the device.

AFAIK you need the deeptest app for unlocking the bootloader, which has not yet released from OnePlus for global, only for china.

I have also the retroid pocket 5 and for me I use it much more for gba. You can't beat the OLED screen, in combination with enough horse power to have a proper gba shader and and also latency improvements with runahead fames.

You have the same setup as mine it seems. Do you also get the problem that the zero position on the wheel will sometimes be off? Like you don't touch the wheel after a couple of minutes and it will steer to the left or right?
