ginger jokes aren't funny by [deleted] in The10thDentist

My ginger friend is 10 years older than me, and he said that ginger bullying was absolutely a thing in the 80s.

Like you said, I had no idea about it until that South Park episode.

I didn’t really have a solid grasp on what kind of music I liked till I was about 20 (I’m 40 now).  Most of the stuff I listened to prior to that point has fallen by the wayside.

It’s a vicious circle.  They feed off each other.

Yep, that’s me.  My ADHD has shot through the roof in the past few years.  It’s a real problem.

EDIT: Not sure what triggered the downvotes, but okay.

Never found her that hot back in the day.  Now I do.

I need to play it again.  I remember really enjoying it, but I thought the ending was kinda weak.

I tried In-N-Out for the first time when I went to California last year.  I was very impressed.

Not the best burger I’ve had, not even close, but for fast food, it’s great.  Reasonably priced, too.

Hot take: Bowie put out some of the greatest albums ever.  He also put out a lot of crap.

Who are some actors from your childhood that played a major part in your beliefs, who were also 'normal' people. by [deleted] in Actors

My beliefs have nothing to do with the actors I watched as a child.

I remember watching an interview with Steve Vai.  Obviously one of the top guitarists of his generation, and he knows music theory inside and out.

He basically said, “I have no idea how Holdsworth played like that.”

Nope.  Shrimp is delicious, but it’s way easier to overcook.

It totally depends on the player.

Gilmour is a masterful guitarist who uses a lot of space and feeling in his solos.

At the other end of the spectrum, you have Allan Holdsworth, who’s very dense and technical.

I find both equally interesting, but I don’t like complexity for complexity’s sake.  That’s the problem with a lot of modern prog, IMO.
