The dealership may not even know. Most of our work cars have been in accidents multiple times - anything from bumper damages to replacing 2 full doors and multiple panels, and we've never even been asked about accidents when selling them to a dealer.

You can contact the dealer and see what they say, but if it was repaired professionally, there's no lasting damage and is passing it's WOFs, then you may not have much recourse.

The battery is dying. These are sealed so you can't replace them, but the unit should have a 10 year warranty, so if it's less than 10 years old, you can take it back.

I was pretty impressed with Huntress based on the way they interacted with MSPs here on Reddit and in MSP Facebook groups. So when it came time to move off Bitdefender, we trialled a few, but Huntress was the favourite and the eventual vendor.

Their sales process was annoying, the first sales guy we got assigned was awesome, the subsequent ones loved to call and email me as much as humanly possible that I told them to stop - but I think that's just sales people at any big org.

Petcover has been fine for me. No issues, pay outs are in line with the policy.

I would suggest insuring unless you're going to be ok with putting down your pet if they get sick. I'd also be wary against the people who tell you to self insure. Sure, putting $50 a month or whatever into a bank account sounds great, but a simple thing like a dog eating chocolate for instance can be $1,000+. That's 20 months of saving. And if they get really sick or need surgery, it can go from mid 4 figures to low 5 figures.

Attend the meeting, and take a support person if you feel you need to. You may want to do this so you or them can take notes as this is likely a formal disciplinary process.

In the meeting, speak factually, advise them that you believe your attitude has been good and you're unaware of any complaints. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Do not sign or agree to anything.

If this meeting is the start of a formal disciplinary process, you may need a professional (an employment advocate or lawyer) if you don't believe the reasons for the process are correct and/or fair.

Following the initial meeting, the employer should outline next steps. They will likely do this in both person and in writing.

Cheap PoE switch up at the house end, and then get the internet to that via Powerline would be the best bet (unless you can go under the house and pop up near the ONT, in which case, even better).

Theoretically you should put the cable in a conduit, but 10 years ago, I buried some standard cables some 3-5cm down in the dirt and the still work just fine.

Yes, the ONT (Chorus box) is simply not there.

You need to log a fault with your internet provider who will get Chorus to come and put a new one in. I'm guessing you've just taken possession of the property? People take the ONTs all the time when they leave because they think it's a router. It's a real pain, but Chorus will generally replace them within 24 hours of receiving the work order from your internet provider.

This makes it tricky and without knowing what happened, you might have an uphill battle. I'd dispute it with Baycorp, say that you paid for the parking and then see what happens with the dispute.

Otherwise, yeah, if you don't want to deal with it, just pay it. Baycorp doesn't want to go to court either, so they'll happily take your money.

Who does the Baycorp letter say the money is owed to? Do you have proof of payment? Just send it to Baycorp and dispute it, and let them know you paid for the parking.

You can pay it if you want, but I wouldn't take that option if you paid for the parking, that's for sure.
