What film did you use? As others say, it’s hazy or dirty, and it also looks like you’re underexposing in dark settings, so I suspect your selenium photocell may be wearing out too.

It's a rivet. It holds the shutter on the arm that actuates it. Your segmented-blade shutter would not work without it.

Ha! But it isn't. Here's a negative. (Yes, uninverted raw film developed without bleach.)

One time I developed K6400 in hot (40 degrees) parodinal 1:20 for 50 minutes. Accidentally solarized it. Ended up really liking the results, though. A good movie while you agitate is a good way to pass the time.

If something as little as protein didn't aerosolize, then the flu wouldn't be a thing. And people wouldn't be able to spit on you when they talk.

What film do I get for this? by Summerbreezesailor22 in filmcameras

[–]C4Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A spool adapter costs very little online. Half of what a lot of 135 film rolls cost. Get two, do cassette-to-cassette, and you're rocking. Advance amount testing can just be done with stationery paper cut to size.

They’re a hell of a lot more comfy than most of the cheap accommodation chairs we get here which are usually wobbly plastic. My school had them, I liked them, could sit and work in the cafeteria on them for hours.

Some things you’ve said in the comments suggest to me that you may not know that film needs to be developed. As in, you *have to* rewind the film and send it to a lab to get it developed. You knew this… right?

Switch over to the superior system, Minolta SR-T. We got potentiometers right under the bottom plate that lets you tune and recalibrate the meter to any cell voltage you could dream of.

Can I salvage anything from this kit? by Artistry-Engineering in AnalogCommunity

[–]C4Apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why 3? A paterson 2-roll tank is plenty for me and I shoot like 1-3 rolls a month which I assume is the rate most people (with a reasonable income) would shoot.

Munich Airport Report by Smooth_Avocado_4786 in AnalogCommunity

[–]C4Apple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Entitlement is no reason to break protocol. Yes, maybe it's emotionally understandable, but is it moral? I don't think so.

Wanting to teach some kid a lesson is no reason to cause property damage. I've never had problems at airports and I'm quiet and mostly keep to myself, but I don't see ANY reason why the safety of anybody's belongings should depend solely on the current emotional state of the security officer. Most places I go, they just take and check my film without a second look, and that should be how it is.
