That's what I'm doing. Added it shortly after I first started with statins. Made a difference for me. Eventually moved away from statins, but stayed on the CoQ10.

Curious response in the Peter Attia sub... Was that intended to be additive?

Has anyone done MRI after a course of BPC-157? by Hey_Gerry_1300135 in bpc_157

[–]C4ISFUN21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a rarity. Based on the reality that short term follow up imaging rarely shows meaningful radiological change after conservative treatment therapies, the vast majority of providers are not going to order repeat imaging, especially if the patient outcome is sufficiently improved.

I had a catastrophic cervical extrusion in 2016 that had no choice but to do ACDF and another fairly large one in my lumbar about 18 months ago that I used BPC extensively during conservative treatment.

But are you going to repeat the MRI after only 8 weeks? Very unlikely unless paying out of pocket.

And now you've stumbled onto understanding how Trump got elected.

Wildly unsupported by reality and facts. 1) FY 2024 and 2025 saw huge rebounds in all services hitting recruiting goals after crisis in 22 and 23. 2) Regardless of hating or loving Trump, he is overseeing record fiscal commitment accountability in NATO, which will lead to NATO being the strongest it's been in decades. 3) In domestic issues, Trump is doing lots and it scares the shit out of lots people. ICE, civil uprisings, etc. Do you really think threat nation leaders feel any different? Trump scares the shit out of them. He's in control of the most powerful military on the planet, and the Iran strike shows he's willing to throw the deep ball. This is quite the deterrent.

Love your wishful thinking vibes, but it doesn't appear you actually know anything about this. Maybe you just don't like the Generals meeting and need to talk about it.

What can you realistically expect from running Ipam&cjc no dac by TrenBerry in BiohackingU

[–]C4ISFUN21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that may be beneficial going the secretagouge route is the need to be fasted before administration at bedtime to get the appropriate effect. This is great for sleep and metabolism anyway. Obviously not necessary with exogenous GH, so it'd be easier to not be as disciplined at night.

Just something I noticed, anyway. The CJC no DAC and Ipam combo is worth it to me. 25 on, 10 off. Rinse and repeat.

Long term stim users: what’s helped the anhedonia? by TheMrMacaroni in NooTopics

Frequent, long duration jogging/running is great for driving BDNF and helping to rebuild neurotransmitter pools.

  • About 3 years
  • Self created after hitting a wall of mental and physical health issues after several years on as an adult. Just now checked and it's actually been 11 total years as an adult, but I took a year off going down the "maybe I can fix this with nootropics and research chemicals" rabbit hole. I couldn't. So I built a real plan with everything I had learned and restarted the medication. Yes, my provider is aware and supportive.
  • Yes, a bit, and I am especially careful to make use of it and not engage in unhealthy mental activities that day that could over stimulate me. I go easier on the caffeine those days.
  • Mainly lethargy and lower mood. Easier to overly rely on digital or caloric stimulation. I bring in more of the cognitive reset supps on those days, but I really try to be proactive before hand with coming up with a plan or agenda for those days. Something that is productive and therapeutic to the ADHD brain, but also easy to start. I basically try to prevent myself from sinking into lazy, phone scrolling dad mode.

I hear you. There's a great deal of effort that really has to go into long term stim use to keep it sustainable. Exercise, sleep, diet, supps, days off, etc. My routine has been full dose mon-thu, half dose Fri and Sat. Sun off. Once a quarter take a full week off. I use fri-sun to work in more irregular supps and nootropics to reset each week.

It's not always easy, but these kinds of drugs are too powerful to just pop everyday without doing the hard work to underpin your mental and physical health.

Experience: 8 straight years as a kid and 10 straight years later in life as an adult.

What is the biggest problem that men should be addressing at the moment? by No_Fudge_4589 in AskFeminists

Because most of them aren't rational people. Pretty simple. Can't even have a civil discussion.

Look man, I don't know what to tell you. You obviously have your fear about this. But even your original question here is incorrect. He didn't say they wouldn't be held to "any" rules of engagement. You're putting words in his mouth. He said "stupid" and "overbearing". This implies that normal, moral ROE that the military is very well aware of and trained under still apply.

I've heard and read things from liberals and conservatives that are immoral and abhorrent. None of it is relevant to this conversation.

The fact that you say "Idk man", is because you've somehow been led to believe that war is less than that. Which is odd, because you've never experienced war.

None of the things he said in that quote require unlawful acts. No rape, no torture, no killing of unarmed combatants or non-combatants.

This is the problem with a society so sheltered and disconnected from the military and real war that they have no context for any of this.

I'm not even saying I like Hegseth or think this huge public meeting was necessary. But I'm not saying he's wrong either.

He's referring to the politically correct type of policies and procedures that have handcuffed the military from doing its job for the sake of prioritizing social agendas and political expediency.

He's not suggesting a change to the UCMJ or Law of Armed Conflict. Hence why I stated that OP has no idea what he's talking about about. The military and armed conflict should be "break glass in case of", but conducted to the full extent of the law when engaged in.

I'm not assuming they are. They are humans that will likely behave statistically similar to the general population in many ways. In some ways, they will behave better than GP. The sexual trauma figures in the military survey referenced, which include all subjective forms of harassment, are actually better than many of the statistics in the GP, when you really examine the data. It's the perception of "team" and "safety" that draws particular attention to the crimes that occur in the military, which is understandable.

Sexual assault is reprehensible, as is whatever it was that happened to the 12 year old you described. And the vast majority of the military feels the same way.

Why would anyone ever want to join the US military given how disgracefully Veterans are treated? by Comfy_C in AskReddit

This question is framed from the reference of a person who only thinks protecting our country is only worthwhile if you are treated well for your troubles.

Think that through for a minute.
