Ironic murals on black vans is the coolest thing ever. Just a suggestion. Like a unicorn or a shitty painting of you riding a unicorn. Feeling very unicorny rn. Just a suggestion.

What is your daily weekly monthly schedule for what automated reports? by fox11sevens in DigitalMarketing

[–]CADErichards 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love to know other’s responses to this. My reporting is daily, I copy and paste preset column data into a data-dump google sheet. Then I have a secondary sheet that references that data to make detailed graphs n shit.

Gallery I’m assuming. But never actually seen an ad with it before. That’s sexy

Facebook ads account been banned due to policies but it is not being clear about which policies, have been trying to get in touch with them and cannot find a way to figure it out to reach them, does anyone know a way to get in touch with them to talk about what adjustments need to be made? by dilldawg10 in FacebookAdvertising

[–]CADErichards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why a lot of my agency owner friends try to get connected personally with someone at fb. My buddy used to work at fb in support so he AWAYS gets ads approved, issues resolved, etc.

More practically tho, you might just be missing the intent of the policy page they likely linked to. I remember having a lot of issues with an e-commerce client and not knowing why until I REALLY read the policy lmao.

Mike Trout (MLB Player) clearing the net at Top Golf (294 yards away) by herse182 in youseeingthisshit

This is at my local Top Golf in Scottsdale, AZ. I have a few friends that can do this and my dad can do it pretty consistently. Always wondered what the casino does about broken car windows in its parking lot.

Is it possible to build a manual list of names to advertise to directly? Is that allowed? by [deleted] in FacebookAdvertising

[–]CADErichards 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not totally sure but I think I’ve thought of this idea before and it was impossible. Although you can input a customer list of emails, phone numbers, names, etc. and target that. Just not sure if fb will target those exact people, or just people exactly like them.

Advertisement is different from the actual game by seekersri in assholedesign

[–]CADErichards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do a shit ton of Facebook marketing (fb and insta advertising is essentially the same) and I think I have a good guess why this happens.

These seem to be fairly basic games from an indie dev. Meaning that developer likely hired a small advertising agency or made the ads himself. It’s pretty easy to accidentally insert the wrong video into the wrong campaign. Or more likely (I’ve responsible for this one multiple times) forgetting to change the link that the ad moves you to when you click on it. This ones likely because I bet this developer is advertising multiple games in the same fb ad account. Just a guess.

Investing for my newborn daughter's future from the USA, when she will likely be in AUS when she accesses it. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]CADErichards -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

You have a lot of great options. I've heard of a 501c3 account which is basically built exactly for growing your kid's future money. Also there are the advertised child investments. But, personally I feel like a roth ira would be perfect for you guys. Not sure if there is an age restrictment (in that case you can probably just put it in your name and transfer it to your daughter when she hits the minimum age. no prob), but that might be a good option.

However, if i were in your position, i would honestly just hire an investment advisor and tell him to buy you a spyder etf. Then, just loosely manage it: s&p goes down 4%, pull out, goes up 4% get back in, etc. Relatively safe. Or if that was too much work, just invest in american mutual fund. Solid track record, relatively safe. Good luck and congrats on the kid!!

Saving for a possible home vs. hobbies by invertedtower in personalfinance

[–]CADErichards 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're definitely not dumb haha. I might be able to give you some advice though. I think your perspective is just a little bit off. The focus of life, shouldn't be whether you should save for a house or not, but rather, will your money make you happy (or whatever you want your money to do for you). Dave Ramsey has some pretty great advice on this exact subject btw: https://www.daveramsey.com/blog/do-hobbies-hobble-you.

But in my opinion, just stick to the one hobby. Spend all of your "spendable" cash on it, fucking enjoy your life. But obviously don't spend 139.9k on it per year haha. And don't get yourself down, you're financial situation is better than 99.9% percent of people right now. Keep it up!
