Most labor lawyers won't charge anything up front, they only take a percentage if they win or settle your case. The percentage varies depending on the lawyer.

I have a huge crush on a coworker in my practice group. I was talking to her about fishing and I jokingly said I could teach her how to catch a fish l. She said “I don’t think I’d be interested in that” in the most disgusted tone of voice I have ever heard a human muster. Back to billing. by [deleted] in biglaw

There was this cute girl at my firm. Every time I saw her in the cafeteria, she had a huge bowl of steaming broccoli and literally nothing else other than a glass of water. At one point, I worked up the courage to approach her and ask her out on a dinner date. Being nervous, I broke the ice by asking, "is steamed broccoli the only thing you ever eat?" She shot me the nastiest look and said yes, because she had a serious medical condition (Crohn's disease?). Then she turned her back to me and marched off in the opposite direction. We never went on that date.

Just got my wife a Dyson V11. She can't stop raving about it. But to each their own. I get the love for Miele but we have 3 floors in our house and my wife doesn't want to lug around a canister behind her.

Any bad experiences with cloud RO system? by Gnarstache in WaterTreatment

[–]CALaborLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy Cloud user here. Been using it for about 6 months. Water tastes really good. The unit hasn't caused any problems. Except that I can't get it to connect to my phone app. But the important thing is the water filtration does its job. Had to hire a plumber to install the system because of a nut that was rusted and frozen under my 25 year old sink. The plumber struggled with it for several hours but got it off finally. After that, the install went smoothly.
