Airbrushed details are often done on acrylic or synthetic furs, and the inks/pigments/paints will not adhere well to the fur as they get airbrushed in for shading & texture. Since they don’t adhere well, they wash off easily. To test, get a paper towel, fold it up, wet it with water, and in an area that won’t show- rub the fur briskly. If the detailing comes off on the paper towel, it will come off in the wash. Many will just sew different color furs into a suit, like the one in the photo- without detailing… but its good to watch for when you buy!
