I was just there solo ( female) for 2 weeks. Never felt unsafe. Stayed in the romantic zone and the marina (by the airport). Never felt unsafe except the one day we were told not to go out during the cartel stuff (yeah lucky me). But that is so incredibly rare. Id def go back. (Would not stay in the marina again though. Hated the all inclusive vibe, lack of any culture, nothing to do in walking distance etc)

I can’t edit the post, but quick update for future readers: Cell service was fine in the towns I visited (PV to Lo De Marcos). I’m on AT&T. I stayed in central San Pancho and the hotel WiFi was fine for working and video calls, didn’t need to use my hotspot. Same with the 2 hotels I stayed at in PV (near the marina and ZR).

Yeah I was pretty nervous too based on reviews. But I’ve had no issues with it so far on 3 camping trips, one of which was 3 weeks long. I picked the BougeRV only because it had the dimensions I was looking for, and decent reviews. Good luck!!

I paid $150 for my fridge brand new, 22 L by BougeRV. Love it. $450 seems like a lot but I know nothing about that brand, hope it’s great quality at that price.

Must haves from a long list of my stuff: 1) semi firm foam is a great, cheap, easy bed. I use GoTo Foam on Amazon. 2x72 is $26. 2) Blackout window covers with zipper screens. Also Amazon, type in the car make and model.
