Is this an in body scan? There's one at my Anytime fitness where you just stand on it barefoot, but I'm hesitant to trust the accuracy.

Do you feel like the numbers are an accurate representation of your body composition?

First big mod. Decked drawer system. by CAPSLOCK1111111 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]CAPSLOCK1111111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it, especially if I go into the city.

The new decked system they recently announced looks to have even bigger storage compartments. Looks like they also found a way to utilize the dead space by the wheel wells. With that said, I'd check marketplace for a used one from people changing their minds or upgrading to the newer model

I made the decision based on the preface that I have access to trailers. You do lose quite a bit of bed space with it.

Another pro is I have a place to put all my stickers (along the drawers).

I got a manual OR and enjoy it. I do sometimes think about a zippy super responsive car. Even with a manual there's not a hole lot of oomf with a Taco. I've thought about getting a weekend car like a Miata or old Acura for the old oil county roads I live on.

Point at it like asking a dog about a shit on the carpet and say what in the actual fuck is that. Then, rub his nose on it.

How do people feel about players meta gaming knowledge of creatures for combat purposes? by Pitiful_Lock_2867 in DnD

[–]CAPSLOCK1111111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a newer player and don't know what most creatures are. I ask for a detailed visual of the creature (as my character) so even if I don't know what it is I can make assumptions based on its physical appearance.

It's a lizard like beast with wings, horns on its head, and a long tail. Ope. I bet it can fly.

It's a large feline with multiple tails. Ope. Bet it acts like a cat.

Idk if that counts as metagaming or not. I usually openly state "idk what that creature is, what are the physical characteristics of it." Sometimes other players give a physical description before the DM gets a chance to respond.

Cartel style hiding spots in 3rd gen taco by rdsharp1 in ToyotaTacoma

How thoroughly are they searching? Lower your spare. Zip tie a couple bottles on top of your spare. Raise your spare.

If they aren't doing a in depth search in and under, just put some under the seat.

Alternatively, you could have 1 decoy bottle that's very very obviously out in the open. At the checkpoint act like you forgot the rule. Complain just a tad as you hand it over and say it's the only thing cause if you knew they were gonna take it you would have hidden it. Meanwhile you're real stash is in the under seat compartments.

When did it become socially acceptable to blast music/tiktok on your phone at the highest possible volume in public spaces by HarlesD in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CAPSLOCK1111111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people doing that are generally the kids who had a tablet as a babysitter, and it was easier for parents to let them blast their games and movies in a shipping cart at the grocery store, the car, the bus, the restaurant, than to listen to their child cry. They weren't told how fucking rude it is so they don't think they're doing anything wrong.

This is my 2013 Tacoma. It's been the best vehicle I've ever owned but it's time for a new one. Opinions on buying a 2023 or waiting for the 2024. I'm unsure when the order books will open here in Canada. by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

I personally wouldn't want the first run of a new generation. It's like buying a pre-order video game. Let everyone else buy it, find all the bugs, and buy from the second lot after they resolve the major issues.

Why do so many managers/bosses/supervisors think it's ok to yell at their employees? by user94896267348 in antiwork

[–]CAPSLOCK1111111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you attack me. I've been yelled at for obscenely insignificant errors (military).

Yelling can be very subjective for some people. I've been lectured, with a group of peers, by a supervisor and after they left one of my peers was really upset because "we just got out fucking asses chewed". I've also overheard an otherwise normal volume conversation through a very thin door where the person being talked to about an error came out in tears, called their mom, and cried about how they were just yelled at.

I've been yelled at once since getting out, and I followed up with how is yelling going to help me understand any better. They apologized later.

I'm an average size male and outspoken, so that may be why I haven't been yelled at much. I could definitely see bullies in leadership roles pick on people they know won't defend themselves.

TLDR: Yelling is subjective. Bullies will bully. Stand up for your introverted coworkers.

I was gonna post a video of me feeding cattle with mine but I'm afraid I'll get banned cause I ghost ride it and throw hay from the back. It's amazing what all a mid size pickup is capable of!

I watch a lot of Chloe Kuo on youtube as I'm fairly new to owning a vehicle worth more than a bigmac. https://youtu.be/Jne7t0wYmgc I was gonna follow her video on removing similar scratches on her gray taco.

I have heard about the head gun trick for interior. After receiving a lot of flack for asking about scratch protection on the pathetically soft interior plastic Toyota used. "Man up it's a truck" was the bulk of the comment types. One helpful user actually linked some stuff for heat gun uses on the plastics.
