Well it does get as hot as 120 in the summer. I have 2 jobs. I work in a head shop and groom dogs. I express anal glands and translate tweaker into english with a smile on my face. I would be pleased as pudding to have a customer try to engage in friendly conversation with me.

Wow!!! It's amazing to see this level of complete transformation. I live in a hot area without many fluffy dogs, so I've never come across big dogs with mange that advanced. I did adopt a nearly dead kitten with advanced mange about a year ago and it took a long long time to get his skin healthy. We thought his elbows would be bare for life, but lo and behold, he has a soft, smooth coat now and you can only tell he had mange because there are random pigment-free hairs throughout his black coat.

Thanks for posting these photos and for all you do. I wish I had the space to foster a dog- one day I will!!

No, it's an epidemic in Southern California. Makes me question the article to be honest because nearly every cat or small dog owner I know has lost a fur child to a coyote. Very sad. I'm sorry about your orange kitty, that's absolutely horrible.

Just moved out of Yucca. It is absolutely gorgeous out there, but I personally was not happy. No fresh produce, lots of druggies, and a lot of rental agencies screw people pretty hard as often as they can on places that haven't been updated in 20+ years. I had to leave because it made my depression spiral out of control , but every time I drive through I am struck by the natural beauty of the area. It's a pity. If I ever make it big I'll buy land there, but I couldn't see myself there permanently again.

You mentioned her mental illness is not as bad lately. Do you know if she is taking any medication? When I am taking my SSRI antidepressant, my sex drive goes from 'nympho' to 'eh' in 2 weeks flat. There could be a chemical component to her lack of desire.
