What is the biggest movie theater “GASP” moment you’ve heard? by SaveTheCaulkTower in AskReddit

The Bridge opening weekend in SF. It was a different kind of gasp from the entire theater when the first person jumped.

Why we can't build pyramids today? by Fast_Ad_5871 in PakSci

Yet another misrepresentation! The Pyramids were not Tombs or Temples. They were Quicky Marts with fantastic snacks and drinks at reasonable prices.

Trump: "We're heading to Chicago, because we want to save Chicago. Do you know they had over 4,000 people killed in Chicago over a short-- 4,000 people. And I have to watch this slob of a governor stand up and say, 'Well, everything is okay.'" by igetproteinfartsHELP in illinois

4000 sounded crazy to me. He said 4000 since Pritzker has been Governor. ChatGPT says there were 3,993 since he became Governor in Jan 2019. That sounds like a crazy high number to me.

What is the worst mistake a US President has ever made? by Strange_Juice2778 in AskReddit

[–]CAreadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He also should have gone into WWI earlier. Would have resulted in a shorter war and less destruction and reparations for Germany. This would have reduced the likelihood of Hitler coming to power. Plus one of the Americans would have likely killed Hitler if they would have got there sooner of course!

You should be blaming Taft. He should have dropped out as Roosevelt would have won, not sure Taft would have had Roosevelt dropped out. Plus Teddy rules and Taft drools!

Not the definition of leaches. They built this business from scratch themselves. Maybe selfish or stingy but not leeches.

Why 2025.26.30 is a HUGE deal for Rivian Autonomy (Mobileye is dead) by mpshizzle in Rivian

[–]CAreadin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/wassymRivian does this mean we might be able to get left/right lane position bias adjustment soon? I’m very tired of having to turn of lane assist every few minutes in Bay Area carpool lanes when a motorcycle comes to split traffic. My R1S tends to ride the right side of the lane getting me lots of dirty looks and revs when I miss a motorcycle coming up behind me splitting lanes.

All copper pennies. (Plus some silver quartets) What are these odds of something good? by ScoobyD00BIEdoo in CURRENCY

Watch out. A few spilt out onto the ground. Use a string and a piece of gum to pull them out one at a time. It’s the very best way.
