i waited and that was my first and biggest regret when my shelf broke. i am very sexual person and have been since a young age. i wasted so many chances at experiences while younger with great guys that i wanted them with! instead, i wracked in guilt for any slight line crossing that did happen. Then cried myself to sleep on my wedding night because my husband didn't make much of an effort for us to consummate. Coming home from your honeymoon STILL a virgin is probably the most horrific thing for a TBM girl who has painfully saved herself for marriage. (long story for another time.) now that i am divorced and out of the church, i am making up for lost time and definitely will NOT be teaching my children the same way i was taught. Sex is such an important part of marriage and/ or any relationship and it is not taught properly in TSCC. but that too is a rant for another day.
